Yeah I think I will wait until it gets some reviews and drops in price. I have zero faith in Blizzard after what they have done to both WoW and Diablo.
 
Thought this was going to be good, but it looks extremely overpriced...
There are better dungeon crawlers around, you're going to have to be competitive on price Blizzard. That's just pathetic.
 
Starting to think about this a lot more, $40 for ONE extra act?!
Will probably wait a few months or longer after release to get this at a much reduced price.

Showing as £32.99 at the rainforest at the moment. Personally I won't pay full price for an expansion, so if it's more than £20, no sale.
 
I'm looking foward to the expansion, but I'm not overly fussed on the collectors edition - something I was almost certain I was going to buy, I would have like to of seen Matheals wings - having never played d1 or 2 I wasnt sure if getting the collectors edition of 3 was worthwhile (i should have gotten it), so missed the beasty looking wings, and as I dont play starcraft I missed them then too, and while I get why they didnt have a 3rd special edition wing add-on. Other than that I can agree that the price does seem a bit steep seeing as the additions are what most of the community believe should have been in the game from the.get-go
 
ill pass on this till its reduced in price.

All the important changes will apply to people without the expansion, too steep for me for 1 act/1 new class and a few new game modes.
 
I don't understand how game companies these days can justify ripping off the consumer in this way. Diablo 3 was an absolute shambles, and now they're releasing an expansion with a single act and changes that they'll be bringing to the original game anyway, and expect us to shell out £32.99 for that? Utterly crazy. I bet the price on their digital store is around £40 as well. How is that downloadable versions are way more expensive than the boxed retail copies as well?

I'll wait until it drops in price. I am looking forward to the changes in the new patch. I stopped playing D3 about 2 months after release when I felt that the AH ruined the progression for me. Now that they're getting rid of it, I'll be going back to it but I certainly won't be forking out £32.99 for what is only an expansion with a single act and a new class. Definitely not worth it.
 
People still playing d3? i have not played in over 1 year and 6 months. I tried to play once since i got my new pc hardware and still couldn't get in to p2p and struggled to get a coop game going as players were rubbish or did not join. Ended up closing it after 30 mins.
