My little boy who turned 2 last week has watched me play pc games since birth and has on many occasions tried to help and play himself, usually this just involved looking either at the floor or the sky and running around in a circle.

Yesterday however we noticed he has worked out mouse and keyboard control so I took a quick (terrible quality...due to lighting etc) video which shows him having a go on BF2... (oh and please excuse the messy desk...I'm messy...lol)

I'm quite amazed (and pleased) he can control it so well already!!! Won't be long before we can play online together!!!:)

This is a 16 rated game is it not?

Yawn... yes it is but does it really matter?:rolleyes:

Aww lol, just make sure he doesn't turn into a couch potato!

No chance of that he spends 95% of his awake time running around like a loony and will always be encouraged to do so.

He'll be armed and dangerous by the age of eleven.

Fingers crossed!! lol. We will of course be teaching him right from wrong etc just amazed how much control he has and awareness of the 3d space in the game.

Wicked :D

My 2 year old is constantly grabbing the PS3 controller off me. He managed to get me killed in AC the other day when he decided to unpause it and shoot a guard in the face... :p

Very impressive for a 2 year old! My little boy is 2, but he doesn't get any exposure to computers so I don't think he'd be much of a match for your seasoned pro! ;)

Yep my chap is much the same hence me putting him on BF2 single player rather than BF3 as I didn't want him messing up my stats too much...lol

My 5 year old loves playing borderlands 2. In fact, I've been letting him play my saved games, as he has done few missions for me LOL

He's a bit young to be playing violent video games in my view. If it makes me a moralist to think that toddlers should not be becoming too familiar with shooting someone in the face, then so be it.

Well yes, it does matter doesn't it. A 2 year old is very easily influenced, he shouldn't be learning that it's ok to shoot people nor should he be watching you do it either. You probably wouldn't let him watch a violent 18+ movie, why is gaming any different

Have some :rolleyes::rolleyes: back.

On topic, your son is showing some good hand / eye co-ordination though.

That is very impressive control for a 2 year old, however showing age restricted materials to underage children is classed as child abuse. Now before you lot shoot me down, I have done a childcare NVQ and I specifically remember it being said that its classed as child abuse, which has always stuck. Now I've just done a quick Google search and cant find anything relating to that specific statement, other than you cant show age restricted items to underage persons.
Anyway personally I think its wrong but each to their own, and Im not haveing a go. :)
