Six acca, Notts Forest, Man City, Celtic, Arsenal, Liverpool and St Johnstone. Possibly the most I've ever placed on a single bet and it looks like it's all on Liverpool tonight.

Hearts came back from 3-1 down to draw and bust my acca. :(

Crazy end to the match by the looks of it!

Not my weekend this week.

9 team accumulator due to pay £458 let down by Barcelona because I was a greedy git and didn't hedge to ensure some profit.

7 team in-play rage accumulator to pay £221 let down by Athletico Madrid.

Balls.

Not quite that much but also let down by both clubs. Only ended up £2.50 down as I put some on the Lakers over Toronto to win the match and it came in.

...I don't do decimals!:p but I think 7/4 is something like 1.8?...no 2.8?(I don't know!)

I wouldn't expect Blackburn to score normally, but this is the cup!

Edit- it is 1.75 apparently....I don't use Betfair at all

7/4 is 2.75. Just do the calculation implied by the fractional odds (in this case 7 divided by 4), then add 1 to convert :)

Slight tangent but for the majority of people decimal odds are much easier to work with because it is really easy to compare odds and indeed work out effective odds for accumulators etc. The only thing I like about fractional odds is they are still what seemingly all the main bookies operate on and there are some odds that don't convert to nice even decimals, so when you see e.g. 1.91 chances are it is actually 1.90 recurrring (10/11), 1.83 is 5/6 etc.

Depends a bit on how you start off I suppose - I didn't start gambling until about 10 years ago and Betfair was already around then, whereas people who grew up going down the bookies in town may be more comfortable with traditional odds.

edit: one thing I never understood was the use of improper fractions e.g. 6/4, 100/30 etc - why are these not 3/2 and 10/3 respectively?!? Is it something to do with making them easier to compare?
