Maximum performance disables speed step on the CPU which is annoying.

Is that why my CPU is sitting at 4.3ghz constant instead of dropping to 800mhz? It's something I noticed has changed recently and I couldn't work out why.

^^ yeah,you need to set it to balanced profile again in windows

Thanks, will change that back. Don't see why CPU should sit at 4.3 on idle, plus the vcore is still being lowered to 0.74 on idle so this might cause issues with OC stability?

it shouldn't do,ive never had issues using power saving

Samsung Magician OS Performance setting is Maximum.

Currently Virus scanning a customer's HDD. CPU-Z shows my core speed dropping from 4600Mhz to 1600Mhz when I pause the scan.
