Do you actually think that style of criminal justice system will act as a deterrent in the way you are suggesting?.

Have you even done any basic research on your 'opinions'?, have you considered the costs related to scrapping benefits?, or the social cost of the massive hike in public disorder?.

Or let me guess, is this just knee-jerk style brain dribble you though up when those two solitary atoms between your ears collided?.

Why not just execute the poor and as people are fired or laid off do them the favour of just shooting them in the nape of the neck as they leave the building,.

A recipe for total social meltdown, the only thing you left from your detached statement was let them eat cake.

Part of me thinks the OP has to be a troll, but having spent a few years on this forum a few members I've noticed how adept a few are at blurring the lines between internet troll & buffoon.

I think It's just as difficult to claim a disability allowance these days, Atos and the DWP seem determined to make life very difficult even for the sick and disabled. People are already committing suicide to escape the relentless attack on the poor. It's very sad that people are resorting to suicide and I fear this is just the start.

someone I know was going to get cut off ESA because of ATOS , they appealed and finally won the decision after going to a hearing 1 year later.
about 1 month after that they got another letter from atos saying they need to come for another interview because people get reassessed every year :rolleyes:

what she has is permanent and not something that can magically disappear.
she just won her claim with the decision makers believing atos are wrong yet atos are going to decide again ......

makes no sense

My view

Benefits for those that have disabilities, especially ones that are born with disabilities such as Autism, BPD, ADHD and the like. Don't give ESA to those that just can't be bothered and end up drunk or take drugs.

Threaten people that end up on ASBOS that they could lose their benefits!

Landlords should lower the rent which in turn would lower the benefit needed, the reason the cap was so high was benefits needed to be payed to Landlords!

I'm hearing time and time again of people killing themselves because of ATOS and the DWP, people that are struggling that just can't work and end up dead by suicide. How is that helping? I feel so so sorry for people with disabilities in this country, it seems once you are an adult and leave school you are screwed
 
Personally, I believe benefits should be given based upon need to be honest - in order to maintain a minimum standard of living for all citizens of the UK with the intention of protecting society against the negative social consequences of extreme poverty (crime, poor public health, mental health disorders).

Ensuring nobody in the UK is pushed into crime for survival for the combined benefit of reduced crime (nobody likes living around crime) & reducing net human suffering. Once this safety net is established simply a rational outlook on the underline causes of long term unemployment with an evidence based approach to resolving them - while maintaining social cohesion.

Give people a sense of purpose, a good education, a stable home life, positive role models, a reasonable standard of living - once this is achieved a vast majority of people want to contribute anyway. All you have left after this is statistical outliers & anomalies - which the public frankly can just learn to accept as being the worthwhile price to pay for living in a civilised society (as the actual economic impact of these will be negligible).
 
Government needs to be held accountable for its actions as do the DWP and Atos. What they are doing is not the done thing and I for one would like to see families of those suicide victims taking this vile Government to court for corporate manslaughter.

You don't get disability benefit for Autism, they say it is not a disability no matter what proof you have (like edu-psych reports!), yet they still send you to Remploy which is an agency dealing with....the disabled. :confused:

I see you are blaming the rich again (landlords). What a suprise ;)
