Oh dear, the benefit scroungers are scared!

It's extremely interesting that increasingly more and more prisons are becoming private, which means they have shareholders, which means they're there to earn money. These private prisons are the new workcamps if you ask me, as more and more people lose their benefits they are going to be forced into stealing in order to survive which means increased prisoner populations (Sorry, profits!) It's almost as if it's all being orchestrated. Give it 20 years at this rate and there is going to be just one divide, the rich and the criminal underclass who work for for their food and shelter.

It's also interesting to note that one of the providers of the work programme in my area is a company called 'Serco'.

Its **** being unemployed, the majority i would say are not scum bags like those on the TV show. The easiest solution would be a natural culling of scroungers like them.

If you have not worked for 2 years or more and don't have a disability then you should be put to work in the community, picking up litter, clearing the dykes by the road for the heavy rains etc. Just putting something back into society.

I would however like to see a program done the same style against corporations who have not paid taxes, there the bigger villains in all of this.

This is based on the critea of the disability involved, remember there are different spectrums of Autism. One Autism isn't the same as another!

One person may get ESA ( Work related activity group ) while another will be on the ESA ( Support group ). You can also get PIP which used to be Disability living allowance, but again there is a scale of how much pip is actually owed depending on how disabled you are.

I agree that companies that dodge tax are, well, dodgy. I don't do that and never would. Unless ofcourse I spend all my profits on actual needs of the company: I don't see why I should have to use personal money to pay for everything my company needs so that I don't eat into taxable profit! People want tax avoidance to be a crime so that there is more £££ to pay for their benefits!

laughable. you really think we can afford to let the prison population boom when it costs some 45k a year to keep ONE PERSON locked up. you might have an issue with privatisation but it's still the taxpayer footing the bill.

Channel 4 has played a absolute master stroke, they have managed to get everybody talking about a TV show. All the show was was bait for people to get angry and go mental over it, but all the while talking about channel 4. This is clearly not a real representation of most people on benefits or even probably that street, if you think otherwise you are an idiot.

There are more people than jobs, remove benefits and what happens to those people who can't get a job?

They will turn to crime to get money, it's not rocket science to work out.

I don't believe the majority of those on benefits are good and honest people. I think the majority are utterly worthless. It's the minority that are genuine cases of people who want to get on in life but for whatever reason have fallen on hard times.

Yes but that's because you are lapping up the benefits propaganda dished out by those in power to misdirect us from the real thieving in society.

Listen, I am in the top 1% of earners according to the stats, I pay a lot of tax. Does it make me hate the poor? No. I actually wish our society would benefit hugely from nourishing talents from all people, rich or poor.

That fat bird on benefits street - she is actually quite intelligent. I bet if she had the right educational background and came from a decent family she could be a good lawyer.

What if they can't find a job?, or nobody will give them one?.

Because they are not desperate enough, they don't have to steal to eat (which is a good thing).
