Bulk buying monster energy UK

My mate is a type 1 and he drank that kind of stuff like you for years.
Now his kidneys have failed and he is on dialysis 3 times a week. They told him to only drink water.

Ahh. I did read a year or two back they are meant to be using a natural sweetener from a plant. Its called sucralose i think. So even very low sugar juices are bad?

Why do you need that before the gym? If you want energy, have a banana and a shot of coffee.

Keep away from these "energy" drinks.

edit: just saw you don't like coffee - you don't even need caffeine, I train late as well, a good diet/routine will have you training with no issues.

+ Banana. I don't drink coffee, but I'm not keen on energy drinks anymore either. Banana works a treat for me. Sometimes two work even better!

Hello.

I tend to buy monster energy drinks regularly at £1.40 a can and its the green (full sugar) one.

Im a type 1 diabetic and would like to know if you can bulk buy them online (blue one, sugar free). I have a look but it seems to be the green/yellow ones.

I am into weight training big time and tend to go to the gym at 7/8pm. Im trying to cut my carbs down big time also and therefore I love a monster :D

Thanks

Not online, but try your local Costco warehouse, probably cheaper.

Sounds like your diet is crap if you need to neck a Monster every time before you workout.

Sort out your diet, and avoid energy drinks.

I thought that caffeine was a popular pre workout stimulant? Yet the OP seems to be getting panned because of all the "OMG energy drinks are bad for you" people. If it's the sugar free drink he's after then i don't really see the problem?

The sugar free ones are just as bad for you as the normal ones.

Hi guys, I've got a peanut allergy, can anyone recommend where I can bulk buy some Cadbury's Fruit & Nut bars? I eat about one a day and it's starting to become quite expensive.

That makes no sense, the op isn't allergic to caffeine. I feel like my intelligence is being lowered just by reading this thread...

You can't just take my word for it?

No because all the clinical evidence I have read in peer reviewed medical journals contradicts what you are saying.

The most commonly used sweetener is Aspartame http://www.sweetpoison.com/aspartame-side-effects.html

Someone trying to sell a program to detox you from the mythical deadly artificial sweeteners with a page telling us just how bad it is for you, seems legit.

For everyone bangning on about how the OP is going to die due to his intake of 3-4 diet energy drinks a week, I take it none of you drink coffee? and especially coffee with sugar?

OP if you want a cheap way to use caffeine then pick up some 200mg caffeine tabs from somewhere like www.bodybuildingwarehouse.co.uk one of those is roughly the equuivelent of a strong coffee.
