Ok so she's a professional detailed with some serious OCD.
Mental.

But people saying, "it's only a Seat wtf?", not everyone can afford a Ferrari!

Maybe if she spent the 100+ hours it must have taken to do that, working/studying instead, she'd be able to? :p

It's her pride and joy. Let her do what she wants with it. Just because it's not a super car doesn't mean she can not cherish her car. I think most of the negativity is jealousy because their car is a filthy mess ;).

Im not that anal as I simply do not have the time but I have done silly things like remove badges to polish behind them. I have even removed window seals, lights, spoilers, petrol caps and mud flaps to clean and polish before as they leave staining on the edges over time (This was on a white car though so was needed).

Hang on, when I read the thread title and clicked the Op's link I was fully expecting someone spending ages washing an actual seat, you know, the things you lay your bum cheeks on... Not the car :o

Same! I even went through the link looking for the seats! It should be "SEAT" and not "seat" :o

Anyway I would actually like to do this to my car if I had the time and space, well at least once, as a sort of 'fresh up' to keep it in good shape.
