It starts with men kissing their mates...

The Monti Cabinet in Italy that ended last year.

That wasn't a proper ground up one. Saying that a techno-meritocracy would be interesting. Better than some random politician being appointed Minister for Education because 'he was the best person for the job', then a year later being in charge of the economy or some such, because 'he was the best person for the job'. I know that's a tad reductive, but it is still bloody stupid.

I reckon we start the Hetrosexual pride movement, you know just to let everyone know we have sex!

Gay marriage!
Rainbow day or what ever its called!
Gay quarter !

You gay SO ****ING WHAT!!!:mad::mad:

I have nothing against gay people, I just dont need to know! OK! ;)

"Everyone who's gay, keep it to yourself, by the way I'm straight."

Personally, I blame it on the weatherman :p

You can't do that...

UKIP - one huge troll?

So one of my gay female friends posted this up on FB:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-oxfordshire-25793358

A Tory defector to UKIP blamed the recent flooding on gay marrage:

In the letter to the Henley Standard he wrote: "The scriptures make it abundantly clear that a Christian nation that abandons its faith and acts contrary to the Gospel (and in naked breach of a coronation oath) will be beset by natural disasters such as storms, disease, pestilence and war."
He then went to on blame the prime minister for the bad weather:

"It is his fault that large swathes of the nation have been afflicted by storms and floods."

Every time one of them opens their mouth complete drivel comes out that you couldn't make up if you tried. It is quite exceptional.

I keep thinking that UKIP are actually just a very long running troll and soon this will all be revealed to be some scene in a Channel 4 comedy show...

*surprise!* Nigel Farage jumps out of a cake dressed as Marilyn Monroe...

Or are they really for real?

But the thing that really confuses me is that people are still voting for them! The Daily Mail brigade cant be that strong can it? Please say it isn't so!

I suspect it's due to an ability to distinguish between one guy's opinion that doesn't represent party policy on the one hand, and party policy on the other.

UKIP said Mr Silvester's views were "not the party's belief" but defended his right to state his opinions.

Were they for real when Nigel was ranting in the European Parliament (of all places.. ) about 29 million Eastern Europeans waiting to invade Britain on the 1st of January?

In fact, ever since I first heard about UKIP I've got the impression that a South Park style banner saying "THIS IS WHAT THESE PEOPLE ACTUALLY BELIEVE." is suitable every time one of them makes a statement.

Granted, however further down in the article:

Independent thought made the UK "a wonderful, proud, diverse and free country".

But isn't the UK also diverse due to the many different nationalities that we have living here? I think so

UKIP are against immigration aren't they? (genuine question)

Again another valid comment, and it would be interesting to see the figures regarding the number of Eastern Europeans who have 'made the move' (so to speak) in the last 21 days.

It just seems to me that UKIP seem to have built the party valid issues/ concerns of the public (perhaps not the whole gay marriage = bad weather doom) and then ramp up the drama with light shows and smoke machines to get the mob going 'YEAH!'...kinda Monty Python style...

A Tory defector to UKIP blamed the recent flooding on gay marrage:

We appear to be following America in so much as some of our politicians are ignorant on a galactic scale.

A few years ago, a senator/congressman (Jim Inhofe) in the US actually tried to repeal a bill designed to supply funding for further investigation into climate change. His argument was straight out of the Old Testament, where he quoted a verse from Genesis, where the sky pixie told Noah that he would never smite the earth again with a flood. Jim Inhofe used this verse as proof, in his opinion, that climate change was a myth and a conspiracy and therefor there was no need to waste tax payers money investigating it.

Now we have this UKIP twit pulling the same kind of mumbo jumbo out of his backside here in the UK.

Religion ! Together we can find a cure. ;)

No UKIP are against mass unskilled immigration, not immigration full stop.
