I would keep the watch. Even if you don't wear it, it will trigger memories when you look at it. In 'xx' years you'll probably be glad you kept it :)

Yes, there's no doubt that this is the way to go now.

It is, however essentially 'worthless' as what use is a watch you don't wear?

I like my Russian Strella chronograph much more and that was only £250 10 years back.

I will leave it to my lad,
" Here's a worthless gold watch, worn by a great man you never knew"....

Very sad really.

You'll not make much off that, I'd keep it. You'd probably only get about 100 private I would say. Sounds low but it's not a desirable piece, especially a quartz too.

I'm actually looking at a vintage zenith 18ct gold manual wind, probably earlier than that (Looks late 60s-70s) as I fancy a gold dressy watch and I love the vintage look. Dial isn't mint, but that's the age, but that's only 50quid ending tonight. I'll see what it goes for, but I'd unfortunately say that seems about right for it.

Don't sell it. Memories are worth more.

It would be a different story if it was a mechanical watch, I would probably be more than happy to wear it.

There is currently no option to sell as I'm not willing to give it away.

Anyway, thanks for the help guys. It will go in a drawer for now.
