What ROM should I go for? Need to change from Omega ROM. To many issues.
Hmm GPE and mavity box? I can't seem to find anything on XDA?
Do I need to mess about flashing modems like I did with Omega?
But when I consider I sold my S2 towards the end of 2011 on ebay & since then I could have gone onto a sim only contract - £12 a month? Whereas I am actually paying nearer £30. Working that out 24 * £18 is a saving of £432 quid for something that just works, plus the grief I've had with the S4 has quite frankly just put me off using it.
hold up, have you seen how involved doing it yourself is? Watch a youtube video, its seriously hardcore iirc.. the screen and lcd are laminated together so you need to replace the whole thing which involves completely taking the thing apart and I think going through some anti tamper stickers.
Either way, I had a look out of interest and whilst I'm fairly handy with a screwdriver and have done this sort of thing a few times it just looked doomed to failure to me, let a pro do it.
yes im aware of that on these newer phones but previous s4 was a old bootloader and i didnt change it. My new ones just arrived so i will post back the bootloader.
not worried about warranty to be honest as i have private insurance
ive got I9505XXUAMDM
Build JDQ39.I9505XXUAMDM
Sweet just tried another sim and its factory unlocked![]()
Sorry to ask again but do i have any form of Knox on mine? Have i been lucky?
Ive already rooted it fineNot dont a customer recovery or anything yet. Ive been running it all stock. But i miss the extra speed, and battery life...........especially miss the extra volume features......
You installed the new bootloader ? D:
I would try up/downgrading to the modem in this thread:

I am using Jamals GE KK ROM. I am having an issue with Shazam where it is saying that the microphone is being used. I have uninstalled or freezed apps that could cause this and it still hasn't sorted it. Also I have cleared data and reinstalled the app and it still throws the error up.
Try Google Ears if you can get hold of it.
If I remember correctly from when I had my S4, the D in the code you posted means you do have KNOX.
I think you can also check by going into download mode and seeing if there's any mention of KNOX flags there.
Just had a 16.28mb stability update from Samsung. It appears to be a KNOX update:
