What film did you watch last night?

Just finished 'Her'. Absolutely bloody fantastic; the feels are too strong. 10/10 in my opinion.

e: I might have to go and see it at the cinema as well.

e: I want to get it on blu ray right now ^_^
 
Das boot. Very loooong. Very tense and claustrophobic. The sound is amazing. Reading about how they made it is very interesting.

The Wolf of Wall Street - 9/10 Brilliant film, kept me entertained from start to finish, LD was great and Jonah, loved all of it. Can tell it was directed by MS, great director imo.

Fantastic Mini-Series/movie! As long as you watched the full length Directors cut (4ish hours) and Subtitles not Dubbed!! :cool:

Wasn't sure what to expect when I started this, what with it being a flop at the cinema, but I was pleasantly surprised. Looking back at it, I don't think the cinema trailer helped it.
Anyway, I thought it was very good. In fact, everything about it was good; the story (didn't realise it was based on a book, which I've now bought for my Kindle for 75p), the acting, the action scenes, and also the ending. It flowed really well and didn't drag, and I really liked it.

A surprising 7/10 from me :).
 
Star trek in to the darkness,

7/10 While I enjoyed the film I was disappointed with the story and was hoping for the same flow as the last one.

DDL is an actor, Leo (I am king of the world) DiCaprio is a movie star.

That's the difference, DDL is a better actor than DiCaprio, DDL is a different person when he is in a role, to the point where you don't know where his old self is.

Where with DiCaprio, I can see Jack from Titanic, bit of Frank from Catch me if you can in his performance in Wolf of Wallstreet. The way he behalves in certain scene comes across in the same manner.

American Psycho is only a little overrated if you've read the book and therefore know how massively toned down the film is in comparison.
Not sure they could get away with half the stuff that goes on in the book, although they could've been a little braver.

Fight Club getting 6/10 is where your pitchfork should be aimed IMO :p
 
Spring Breakers

If I could give 0/10 on IMDB I would, but as you can't 1/10. I couldn't even make it to the end of the film, it is truly terrible. Even the lighting and camera work is terrible, let alone the lack of anything which makes sense. And the girls just do random drunk stuff showing if there bodies, but even that's not any good thanks to the lighting and camera work. Turley terrible.

No wonder I haven't seen this before, also a pile of junk, at least I made it to the end, not sure why mind you. Why are there so many crape alien movies.
