Until recently, I never knew there was a 'scheme' in the DfT to test airport security, but I'm thinking about applying. Should be quite an experience.

It's a good idea, as long as everyone who wants to have explosives allowed inside a pressurized tube only travel with like minded people on planes that are near the age of replacement and piloted by people that hold the same views, over unpopulated areas.

Then a small hole opens up to take the body elsewhere and little Roombas clean up the blood.

How does one protect their liberty with a shotgun on a plane? Strange place, the US.

I'm not sure whether they are saying that in an intelligent way (probably not). However, they are correct. The TSA is an incredibly poorly ran operation that absolutely drips money on a huge scale. There was a very interesting article about it all.
Something obviously has to be put in place, but the TSA are doing a terrible job. Much like the NHS.
