Tomb Raider coming to Xbox one and ps4

its his money, he can do as he pleases.. anyhow, the ps4 version is quite a leap graphically from the ps3 version, and next gen is all about graphics..

why do pc owners buy a new graphics card when there old one can play the same game at a low res, low textures and lower fps??

I'm getting my copy today for ps4, and I've played it through twice on pc already. but I love the game so would like to play it on my shinny new next gen games console.

Exactly my point, so why are people on this forum continuing to lie to themselves and each other that it's all about the gameplay. The game was superb on the 360/ps3 that if you wanted to play it again the version you already had was fine or a cheap 2nd hand copy.

is there an step up for this game or is it just the full whack you have to pay? Ive got £125 in psn vouchers but I know this is gonna be on an offer sooner or later, making me hold off at the mo.

The gameplay is superb and that's the most important factor without doubt, but why not pay extra for the version with all the extra bells and whistles if you loved the original. Hell I'd pay 40 again for Fallout/Skyrim with PC settings even though the gameplay would remain the same the resolution/draw distance etc would all add to the experience and be worth it for me.

My copy just arrived. Wasn't expecting the 10 tracks from the soundtrack to be included. I'm going to desperately try and finish Blag Flag so I can give this a go later, can't wait :D.

+1....

Yes it is worth buying if you haven't played it before, it's a fantastic game.

Not quite Tomb Raider of old, but a damn good step in the right direction.

Anyone know if there's any high street shops selling this for £40? Going on prior Prime experience with Royal Mail my copy won't be appearing any time soon, so I might as well try and pick up a copy.

You can buy £45 PSN credit from cdkeys for around £38 and buy it digitally if you wanted it today ?

Asda have it for £42 Close enough?

Cheers, on second thoughts I haven't got the energy to go out tonight :p downloading's a good idea but I imagine I'll want to be trading this in around March.

I'll give the postie another chance tomorrow and grab it from Asda if it's a no-show.

Anyone with the Digipack edition are the pages in the art book stapled in ok? The pages are only stapled in on some paper and they seem to be coming away from the page (one is already free). If that's what it's like new I don't think it will last long but if there all like that probably not worth me getting an exchange.

Tesco have it for £40 as I picked it up on the way home, and playing it now. Graphics are gorgeous, nice to see the game with tressfx and not turn into a slideshow like it did on my laptop in some scenes. Overall, its the PC version running at very high settings. Smooth gameplay as well.

Still the same PC game mind, tombs aren't anywhere near long enough but its still a great game, and it you've not played it on PC or on last gen consoles then well worth picking up..

This was one of those titles I just figured I would wait and see if they would release it as part of PS+ when it was on the PS3, grabbed a copy on my way home last night for the PS4 and think I have put in about 8 hours already.

Game looks excellent and I can never put my finger one why but its just one of those games I keep wanting to play and don't seem to tire of, compared to AC4 which although I am enjoying it I always need to stop and play something else now and again.

So I'm the only one with a dodgy art book then :( oh well I'll get it exchanged tomorrow :).

Game play wise though it is a huge upgrade from the original. The touch pad works really well for handling the artifacts. Biggest surprise was how much the controller speaker is used. Is a nice little effect when you step over a twig/stones and you hear the sound coming from below.
