Pokemon X and Y - 3DS - Oct 2013

Do you want a HA jolly dratini with extreme speed, dd and dragon rush or a jolly scraggy with ice punch, dragon dance, drain punch?

also modest sheer force nidoking

I'll happy take all three, with a preference on the Dratini.

Just trained up a adamant herocross with rock black to add to the list - designed for mega evolution.

What do you want in return?

Okay best way to do this it to ev train them all first. So they are all maxed out like I said above. What level are your top 3 pokemon right now? And how much money you got in game?

my highest levels are Greninja at 51, Chesnaught at 41, Swampert at 44.

My new Feebas has been maxed trained in Special Defence and HP now, so I guess I can start levelling..

I will start on Scraggy next then Squirtle.

After doing this training it makes you realize how bad my Greninja, Chesnaught and Swampert since they haven't been EV trained at their stats are just all over the place.

I have around 70,000 i think, not too much

I will sort something out tonight. Not sure what I want but ensure you have a heart scale for me at least.

Okay don't worry too much about that. The pokes I sent are more trophy/ online competitive EV and IV spreads. They are worth training right. Each one took hours of breeding to get to that standard. Think over 10 hours hatching bagons etc...

The best thing you can do now is spam some exp o power and get a few more levels up. Then visit Cafe LeWow. Cost you 90, 000 for one go it's like exp heaven but your opponents are lvl 67...but you also get a lot of money back if you do it right. You can jump pokes from lvl1 to lvl 25 or higher in one go through LeWow.

Save before you try it though incase your main 3 pokemon are just not tough enough to win.

My lvl100 lapras and lvl 93 talon bird they have terrible iv's and their training is all over the place but I don't care I just use that lapras as my Surf and Strength HM slave. And talonfkame for its flame body for hatching eggs and HM Fly .

Once you get access to Battle items you can buy for bp points such as Power Anklet etc you can perfectly train about 4 pokes inside 20 mins and do them all at the same time . I do mine that way in batches. I.e put all Jolly and adamant into one batch and all tbe timid/modest in another.

Wow thanks for you're help with this, I appreciate the time you have put in

With the Bagon you traded with me I'm sure I didnt do his EV training right away at level 1 and he may have leveled up a few levels before I started and completed the EV training, will I loose any stats because of that?

Hi, no you can EV train at any point and still get the same benefit. However, if you do loads of random battles before training you're going to have acquired random EV's so you'd need to get a EV clear bag and then start re EV training.

IMO i get my pokes EV trained up and then carry them around picking up EXP and let them grow and face any opponent knowing the EV are already maxed out so i dont need to wipe these or run away from battles that are going to yield say for example defence EV when i only want Attack and Speed for instance.

ive probably got 2-3 boxes now of fully EV trained perfect IV (ie the right 5 out of 6 or in some cases all 6 IV's) levelled up to lvl 50 (or 56 for Tyranitar) in variations of Nature and move sets, i.e ive got 3 blastoise all trained up, one bold for defence two modest one with the standard Sphere/Aura Beam/Surf moves and the other with the hidden ability and the egg move Water Spout, which is a hugely powerful move, but also a limited move in some respects.

Same with my bagons i have 1 jolly, 1 naive, milotic in bold and modest and then an extra one with Hidden Power Electric) all ready to go so i can go to my box and pick whatever pokemon i want for battle maison or online knowing how all the stats compare with each other pokemon at the same lvl (lvl 50).

To get to that stage the amount of breeding i had to do was incredible', but then once you have a number of good iv pokemon you can use the males to breed with other species, i.e i could breed my HP Fire Venousaur with a lotad female and pass on the IV from my vensaur to my Lotad, speeding up the lotad breeding process. Same with dragons, once i had some Dragon Dance/Hydro pump males with perfect IV' i could breed these with the Dratini female and speed up my dratini breeding process. Then when i have 2 good parents, i.e both with the right 5 perfect IV's, i pump out another box of babies, and keep the new ones that also have the right IV's then i trade them off on other forums to get other pokemon i dont have that already have 5 iv from the person im trading from, so then i can speed up building new teams by trading in new great IV pokemon right away with my sppare perfect pokes i trade off. thats why i can trade so many away here for nowt, because i probably have 10-15 5 IV perfect Dratini's, Bagons, lotads, etc...i got boxes of the offcut children from my main battle box pokes.

i have over 340 hours invested into X Y about 20 are completing the game, the rest is all hatching eggs and levelling up pokemon for competative batle.s

I completed the Super Training on one of them yesterday and unlocked the two special set stages which I didn't know about they were quite easy and I got some stones.

All of the 3 Pokemon have all of their EV's maxed now in the points you recommended, I guess I should now continue with the story!

I am really looking for a Gengar and a Alakazam if anyone has any, they bring me back to my Pokemon red days!

Are the Mega Evolved Pokemon really good in battles? Does it make sense to have at least one on you're team as I dont think I have any at the moment.

Pretty sure I sent you a squirtle. Get him evolved into blastoise and use blastosobite. The moves on that squirtle are egg moves I.e need with other pokemon types to pass down their moves. The moves were designed to be blastoisonite because they get a power boost with mega evolution blastoise due to his new Mega launcher ability.

In my 3v3 I lead with mega charizard y due to his drought ability. But I am breeding mega alakazam and mega aggronite for options plus drought nine tales so I don't need mega charizard y for sunny day.

I've got a IV trained Ghastly if you want it.

Also, add a IV trained solosis (spelling? Its the one that becomes reniculus) to my list of pokes available to trade.

So what do I do after beating the Pokemon Champion? Collect more Pokemon to fill out the Pokedex?

Pokedex, breeding, catch Moltres plus other legendaries. Build up a battle team, fight in battle maison for BP to buy Battle items for your battle team. Go online and battle online and trade for pokemons from non xy region...

Cool they thought I was a Newfie when I was there...

okay I ready.

Scraggy - train this dude in attack and speed. Leave the moves it has.

feebas - evolves into milotic, train in special defence and hp. This is a special wall designed to take special hits. Equip with leftovers.

Squirtle - designed for Blastoisonite item and moves. Train in special attack and speed. Rest into hp. Keep dragon pulse, aura sphere. Replace scald with water pulse when he learns it and replace aqua jet with any move you like.

Ok so Bagon, Scraggy, Feebas and Squirtle are all fully EV trained now, it did take some time but I'm sure it will be worth it

Good good. You've got decent coverage there dragon/ flying with massive physical attack and a backup fire blast for those tough to kill steel or grass pokemon.

Scraggy gives you fighting coverage plus elemental based punches for max coverage.

Feebas and blastoise give you special attack coverage and a bit more bulk to soak up some hits but are both week to electricity and grass so be careful. But throw another could have pokes in there and you have a good team.

What Flying times does everyone have on their team to learn FLY?

I am struggling to find anything good.

Flying times???

I presume you mean pokemon :p

Your best choices are essentially Hawchula - fighting/flying, talonflame - fire/flying, and aerodactyl - rock/flying

I don't think you get a hawchula until a bit later on, but talonflame is easy as pie to get, and aerodactyl can be gotten from the "old amber" fossil quite early on.
I went with talonflame for my playthrough, but only because I already had it before I got the aerodactyl, and didn't want to retrain.
