yep seen it for like 17 quid very worrying. not a big title cant see it being anything but middle of the road. Mantle lovers will probably just use it as a benchmark prog though![]()
Textures look last gen...... So flat and low res...
Do people not know about tessellation and parallax occlusion mapping
The new consoles simply arent powerful enough in my opinion.
Unless we get some real pc exclusives I expect to be very dissapointed by the graphics for this new generation.
Sadly I think you're right, and I'm thinking it is largely to do with the XB1 specifically. I've seen a few people in the industry saying that the tools need to come along way before we see 60FPS at 1080P. Now, is it just me - or is that pretty pathetic considering these machines have to last us 5+ years?
I think also, with using UE3 (when UE4 is ready and willing) we're still a year off from not catering for the 360 / PS3. Where using newer engines is a complete waste of time.
Also this should not be in this part of the forum.
If you look at GTA5 and TLoU on PS3 - graphically these are superb considering the hardware they're running off. Especially considering the amount of RAM/VRAM they have.
If you translate that to the new consoles (well the PS4 as the XO is graphically inferior) then you can realisitically expect some great looking stuff in the near future.
The memory was what held back the last-gen consoles really and there shouldn't be any such limitations this time round with 8GB DDR5.
