New Thief trailer, let's hope this game delivers

The new consoles simply arent powerful enough in my opinion.

Unless we get some real pc exclusives I expect to be very dissapointed by the graphics for this new generation.

The consoles are as powerful as they can be for the power envelope they have, typically consoles are what, 250-300 watt? A 300 watt PC couldn't keep up a 300 watt console.

Looks awesome. Reminds me a bit of Dishonoured... could be good

I like one YouTuber commenting on whether there is an ability to turn off flashy icons for hidden items... and the response

Give or take a few watts the latest 360 slim uses around 80W, the X1 uses around 120W and the PS4 around 140W.

They aren't remotely close to 300W, the 360 I believe at launch had a 200W power supply brick, it used very close to the full amount available.

Worth noting Deus EX: Human Revolution was heavily discounted not long after launch too - didn't make it any less of a good game (and it's bloody marvellous)

having said that Bioshock Infinite was discounted a lot not long after launch too, and that's in most people's eyes one of the best games ever made.

I think bundling them with cards didn't help the games' retail price, so don't use it to judge how good a game is!

I never bothered with Deus Ex HR but reading around, it looks like I should give it a go. Bioshock Infinite was pretty good but the GFX were a little underwhelming for me. I preferred the previous 2 Bioshocks.

Tomb Raider only started to make profit at the end of December I believe, which I found very surprising as that would have been my 2013 GOTY. Not many games I complete 100% but that was one.

As for GFX, I love visuals but I can't for the life of me get playing Crysis 3 again, except for a fps check. I can have all the settings on full but the gameplay I find tedious.

One for me to keep an eye out for a cheap deal. I have so many games that don't even get 10 minutes play, it is quite sad :(
I hardly played any game on my PC since getting my OcUK unlocked 290x and been gaming (if we can call it that) on my phone mostly, and my cousin will be helping me buy a PS VITA from Hong Kong end of this month, and I'd probably be playing Japanese games on it :p

I don't even know why I upgraded to the 290x anymore...I just don't seem to get much motivation for gaming on PC thesedays lol

I'm still waiting for Phantasy Star Online 2 to get western release...

Looking forward to this to fill the gap between titan fall, got a cheap gold ticket off another forum. Seeing as it has mantle capability want to see how my 290x fairs.

Been gaming more than ever on my PC, just re-completed Cod Mw & 2 on veteran, boy they were fun games.
