United's inability to move the ball quickly stopped them from stretching Fulham and finding space.
Watch Barcelona play teams like that (not so much this season, but in the past) - they crucify them because they are good enough to pass the ball in front of the box, draw players out of position and use the space.
United have players who can do this - Mata, RvP, Rooney, Januzaj and Kagawa are good enough to do that. But Moyes doesn't let them play in that way, and instead throws crosses into a crowded penalty area.
Fulham are not the first team to park the bus. Other teams manage to deal with it. Why can't United?
