You are the one referencing Fry on this, not me. I don't view him as credible.

FIFA awards World Cup to Qatar where homosexuality is illegal. People are imprisoned for acts of sodomy. Not a peep out of fry.

IOC awards Winter Olympics to Russia where homosexuality is legal and Fry goes nuts.

Did you know Sochi even has gay bars. The guy who owns the leading gay nightclub called it the gay capital of Russia.

So why is Fry so critical of Russia and not Qatar? The man is a rank hypocrite.
 
How does not talking about Qatar right now when the event is in 2022 make him a hypocrite? Not condemning something doesn't imply support for it.

As soon as the IOC awarded the Olympics to Sochi he called for a boycott. Not a word I can find on Qatar to date.
 
Asking Google to define 'natural' we get:

adjective: natural
1. existing in or derived from nature; not made or caused by humankind.
2. in accordance with the nature of, or circumstances surrounding, someone or something.

"anything..." can't be using the first definition because he is talking about humans. If he is using the second he is saying "Different sex families are natural because that's the nature of families". Which is a circular argument.
 
Many years ago I received a call at work from Stephen Fry. He wanted to know why he couldn't get the internet on his phone.

Me: 'Can I ask where you are, do you have a post code?'
Him: 'I'm in the Amazon Rainforest making a documentary'.
Me: 'Well that might be why...'
Him: 'Oh, okay then'.

I have my doubts about him.

I regret not asking 'Is there anything else, Darling?'

or possibly the man doesn't follow football and was unaware of where the world cup is going to be/

Also complaining about one country but not another doesn't make you a hypocrite, only if he banned pro heterosexual "propaganda" would he be a hypocrite, all he is is someone who didn't bitch about everyone equally (possibly he thinks quatar is a lost cause/unlikely to change but Russia being more advanced may listen to public pressure more?)

Fry is a Director of Norwich City so I think he has an interest in football.
