Being out of the top 4 is something you have experience of, how did you cope?

Some of the stuff he comes out with is cringe worthy but Roy Keane saying that Utd have been "cutting corners" in transfers recently isnt too far from hitting the nail on the head imo, and this season its showing.
Need the advice?
We're discussing inept Liverpool managers aren't we? Not just one player, didn't he buy Downing for some ridiculous fee as well?

Ah so you thought this response was better? Are you 12?
Do you even remember the last time you won a title?![]()
That's absolutely true, but I don't believe the squad is nearly as bad as some people suggest. The squad is weaker now AND the manager so far is utterly clueless, which is the issue. If the squad was really that bad we'd probably be outside of the top ten with these performances.![]()
Your commercial activities at the time are not even close to what Utd's are now. Thats the big difference that your stats dont show.
Of course gate reciepts follow success (in the long term at the very least), but with all the sponsorships etc Utd are signing even CL football isnt essential from a finance point of view for a year or two.
Carroll was an awful signing but Lamela is looking just as bad at the moment, he is out for another 6 weeks.
We all edit posts, I was giving you advice too. Watch highlights from your glorious past, Its all you will have left now![]()
From a Liverpool fan who has just admitted rewatching their glorious CL campaign LoL![]()
We're on the up though with a progressive young Manager and an exciting young team. Your on the slide down with a prehistoric manager and an old aged squad.
Swings and roundabouts as you youself posted![]()
You can come out with that if we have 20 years in the wilderness, until then, statements like that will bite you in the arse![]()

When the club is generating the cash like Utd are (~£100m / quarter) £4-5m isnt exactly that much to worry about.
Putting it another way, its probably one board member's wages for a year.
Inconsequential.
contractual player wage increases and bonuses associated with the growth of our commercial business
Lack of CL football will impact the quality of players you can attract though, regardless of off the pitch investment levels.
a lot of drivel
.
Aguerro arrived at City before they had CL football
There are also enough up and coming players with a lot of promise where EPL football will be a big enough inducement even without considering the club name and respect in the world community (even if not on here lol)
And while we will have to bring in new players, they wont be on the same level of wages that those players were on.
Wasnt he paid obscene wages though? And they had to pay over the odds to get him too I think, nearly 40 mill
It was gently pointed out that his team were 21 points worse off than at this stage last season. "Well, I was at Everton so I wasn't 21 points worse off," he replied. "I was at Everton."
