Knock, Knock Delivery :D

I just bought a 200mm dust filter off OCUK shop, can't remember the make. They're a bit militant though, might stop more than just dust. You know, like actual air :D

That's what I don't want haaa
It's quite hard to pick a fan filter so meny to pick from and very little knowing on how good or crap they are.

Do you just turn to girlfriends tights? Haaa

Update
I have ordered more Apache black 140 fans and a 120 fan filter. I going to have 4x Apache Blacks two front and two top and the H80 intake.

I have done more testing today and I now know for 100% it's the Air cooling, basically Bottom card is taking all the air and giving the top card its hot air.

I know this because I have disabled Crossfire and the temps on top card are now much better 72c on 3Dmark

Will post back tomorrow when changed things around.

Also ordered one of these :D

food for thought ;) feel free to send your side panel to us :)

Polished and flattened down the edging. Just need to get some nut bolt headed screws for the industrial effect :D.

LED out on the fan though

Wow very nice case mod. Did you do that yourself?

A nice update today, got new fans and temps much better now while gaming.
Top card is 84c and bottom just 72c so bottom card still eating away.
On my last case I had the two cards temp wise neck and neck so this what I trying to aim for.

Going to try switching them around tomorrow and see what else I can do. Was thinking changing the front 140mm fans to out take and top two intake. My thinking is to remove the hot air fast possible.

But tbh for what I want think a side fan might be only option.

i think ur temps r pretty good now shankly
i have 2 msi gaming too and ur temps are better than mine during heaven :p
i havent run many benchmarks before i didnt know that one was so stressful, i went straight upto 90c within a couple minutes haha :)

i think the top card gets so much hotter bcos its not so much a backplate than it is a hotplate huh

Yah, air saw and a bit of a poke, some flattening and polishing :) 193mm hole :)

Dropped a 3 or 4c from what I can tell thus far. Cards idle at 20c and under load 40c :)

Blue is water, green is case ambient :)

If you're water cooling, why did you need the side fan?

As above, I've maxed out rad space in the 900D so there isn't much in the way of 'cool' air getting in. As you increase load temps the air coming through the radiators gets hotter. So adding this 200mm fan gives a nice source of cool air over the GPUs and up past the CPU. Being on water, they still get hot, especially the back plates. It's basically similar principle to the OP's issue with not having blower design moving hot air out the back, instead it all just sits in the case.

Update

New fans helped a lot keeping the temps from the 90c mark. But I still wasn't happen :p my aim was to keep both cards kinder in the same temp range. Sadly with this great case it has one major flaw no side fan.

Sooo :D
I joined Ltmat's friends from the Ghetto and made my own. Ignore the Wiring just temporary with testing.

New temp on top card. Just 68c

Nice. With that new setup i would make your H80i as rear exhaust now and make your top case fans intakes to keep positive pressure. (filtered intakes)

Yeah the tops I would need custom fan filter, like from demcifilter. Can tell you something though.

Word to anyone if buying new 120mm fans get the "Scythe Gentle Typhoon 120mm"
Without doubt one powerful little fan and zero noise.
