actually not feeling that bad as that graphic looks now. though cowes high street is 3ft undewater tonight.

Winds are much calmer this morning and we dont appear to have sustained any damage. Really surprised by that considering the noises last night!

Crazy wind all last night. Hope it's not taken any roof tiles off!

Time to phone landlord.

Well, only a few pots blown over, a slightly buckled fence and a tile off a neighbours house. Was easily as stormy as the one we had in the autumn.

Have to say I'm impressed with the fence myself and 3 neighbours, who's gardens all back onto each other, had put up in 2012. The previous fence died in lesser winds but this one is still intact.

Hope I haven't just jinxed it.
