I have had fps drops and lag all night... is normal for the ps4 version or did dice mess it up with a patch?

Quite funny last night, we absolutely sucked. Not a single victory! Good fun though, especially that last one on Hainan resort.
 
Is it better to have aim assist off or on? I'm not used to it as I am a ex PC player and it's really annoying me when you come to a group of enemies and you start shooting one and it moves your aim to a different player.....I always end up dying.

When you die and you see the other players details etc it has an image for that player, usually a flag or some type of image. Where do you change what yours is? I've seen a few DICE ones yesterday and wondered if they were actually DICE employees.

I've noticed that you have been on the opposing team a few times now, you should join the rest of us as well as the party chat.

The rest of the lads should be able to help you with questions.

I spent most of yesterday just trying to shoot down aircraft.

The aa vehicles have terrible reload times when your constantly trying to shoot down 3 different aircraft.

Points I had lock on and nothing to shoot with. By the time I did then they went out of range or had their flares back.

If I did hit one, pilots jump out so you don't get the kill.

I've had better luck with stingers tbh than as vehicles, although the pilots were extremely good last night on that second server that's why I resorted to just trying to get them
 
Heres my PSN "ironak" if you guys want to team up I have only had the game for few days, good fun so far just struggling with the aiming used to playing BF4 on my pc.

I'm don't like aim assist either I also came from playing BF4 on pc the aim assist seems random at times, I did try playing with it off and it seems your at disadvantage. Only if they made the aiming as smooth as killzone shadow fall I would keep aim assist off.

I did try and join you a few times but it just put me on the other team, I keep forgetting about party chat aswell :D

I'm not liking conquest at all yet, probably becasue I'm still getting used to using a pad. Vehicles just feel clumbsy and aircraft is just a waste of time for me so I have been sticking to the bomb and deathmatch servers which also help get my unlocks quicker.

I've tried it with it off and I don't know if it's me but it still seems to assist slightly, I just don't know if I should start to learn with or without it. I suppose their is some disadvantage without it but there's time's where I have tried to aim right and it keeps stopping me from doing so like your fighting against it.

Try changing your vehicle controls to "veteran" the default were awful I found, veteran feels more like mouse & keyboard as it uses the triggers to accelerate / brake I have only tried it on land vehicles and it feels much better

i think i'll have to turn aim assist off if that is what your all recommending.

see the MTAR gun with the ridiculous fire rate, are you guys using that on burst or auto?

i find on auto its just a spam fest and none of the bullets hit, on burst i feel i would be better off with an ak5 or ak12 is it?

i don't have any unlocks for it, once i get a grip and a barrel it should improve in regards to accuracy.

would also like to hear about your guys favoured loadouts. the DMR is awful for close combat stuff and pretty useless at anything over 200M as well, normally need to hit the guy 3 times, it's a medium range gun and i find i do well with an assault rifle at those ranges anyway.

i think i'm going to go assault rifle on 2 classes with maybe the MTAR for close combat on another then a DMR on the recon class for some fast sniping because the sniper rifle i have you need to reload after every shot which makes the DMR better as you can just spam shots off

forget the MTAR if you're using it at long range. You can tap fire it and catch the unaware, but if you come up against anybody with a half decent all round weapon who is aware of you, you won't win. The only long range fights you'll win with the MTAR are ones where you have caught them unaware.

Mtar has its strength in close combat domination sized areas. Alternatively its a good gun if you're a tank crew, since you can pop out the tank and mow anybody down who might have gotten too close.
 
I hate DMRs and the noobs that use them. I have MTAR on auto but just practice burst fire with a disciplined trigger finger :p many owns had
 
Is there a list of regular players for PS4? Would be good to play with people who aren't randomers. Also is there anywhere else to get premium reasonably cheap other than cdkeys. They are out of stock at the moment and don't particularly fancy paying full price for it.
 
there's a fair few in the OP.

If anybody isn't on that list and needs adding just let me know. This thread is 3000 + posts so I'm bound to have missed some :)
