Her car hit a barrier on the highway. She was thrown out of the car and died on impact.
 
Of course she will have proclaimed it to be a test of her faith. What else would it be?

*Facepalm*

I cannot say how well conducted this survey is, but the sample size would not be the issue. Very few studies are based on the entire population; you take a sample size based upon the confidence level you wish to achieve. 2200 should give a reasonable degree of confidence.
