Maps are meh imo
They have put that ****ing gunship on all of them except metro now..... That + artillery + staff shell + mbt law + activ radar HAVE to go, most annoying skilless noob weapons/vehicles ever.
firestorm - probably the best out of them all although why give the gunship to the D flag!?!?!? So much closer to the russian (?) side......
caspian - pass me the sick bucket, that default colour is awful, thank god for the sweetfx config and regardless of that, the wall ruins the map, can't get the tanks pass as you get faggots spamming c4 etc. from tower and then tanks and engis at other side waiting, essentially the maps favours russian side, oh and can't see **** because of the trees etc.
metro - some how dice have made it worse than bf 3 metro map..........even more of a grenade etc. spam fest
oman - terrible, ambush from everywhere and crane/construction campers galore, attack boats = lol, what is the point, spent my entire match in one and couldn't even get 10+ kills with the boat, only good if you use TV missile to help with tanks on the ground
Overall, not great maps for tanking imo so I will be AA whoring and playing as infantry mainly.
Nice to not have aircraft dominating these maps though.
BTW joe, any note worthy changes? Have the rex and mag been fixed in this patch? And has the heavy barrel change happened, is it now the new weapon unlock to use???
