Not a good day for me, just broke 07 zocchi 66 ata's, was going to service the ATA as it was sucking down and not giving full travel (orings needed replacing) came to undo the bottom nut on the left leg with the air valve, whoever had these before me had really tweaked it on there, i barely used any force and it sheered the bloody valve off, one set of decent forks ruined in less than 15 mins :( had no luck finding any parts, which being 07's is understandable but still annoying - Now it would appear back in the market for decent forks second hand as i cannot afford sticker prices.

So back to the drawing board with the Demo designs.

Thinking I'll just get this design done, but contemplating the colours:

But have that in the "DVO Green" as I can have the matching Production Privee cockpit:

OR, I could have it done in the D2 "Speed" Red and Orange

Thoughts?

anyone have a link for a rear mudguard that actually works? i remember seeing one recently that attached to the rear seatstays rather then the seat rails or seatpost that looked a good prospect but can't remember it's name or manufacturer

backside and top of thighs getting soaked by spray shooting forwards from rear wheel - current rear guard keeps the spray of my back admirably but does nothing for the back of the thighs

...but the green will look just as slick.

The new XC and DH opens on Wednesday apparently. Couldn't see no signs though when I was there on Thursday.

They've also "improved" the current DH track. I'm not a fan to be honest, only rode it twice but first impressions arent great :( It's a shame because the bottom section of the DH track (from road drop down) was lovely for hammering after a loop of the XC. The jumps, one after the big left hand berm and the double just before the bridge was just right for me to practice getting air. Now it's all super steep take offs  :(

TL : DR - it's not been improved.. it's a backward step if you ask me.

Yea everyone seems to be making these stupid steep jumps. They don't bother me just you have to hit them with massive speeds if they are fairly long.. Ill probably give cwmcarn a miss, so many better trails to ride on other side of the hill!
