Anyone got some advice for me probably being a tool.

Went for a ride yesterday some XC stuff on a rocky trail. My forks felt very harsh small bump response on rocky terrain was horrific leading to my forearms and hands feeling like i had been holding onto a bucking bronco.

I tried playing with the rebound and i dont think im running that much (8 or 9 clicks) I also tried the different settings (im running a fox 34 CTD float) with no joy on this terrain.

My hands felt like i had arthritis after the ride which they have not before and has annoyed me that i may have broken something.

im running about 85psi in the forks atm.

Thats low psi, what % sag are you running at that? Do you run the fork in climb mode all the time? Adjusting the rebound wont do much for your problem unless you were running next to no rebound and your forks were comming back fast.

i am such a penis i have jsut noticed the dial under the CTD lever with arrows saying soft and firm.

It is currently at max firmness cant turn it anymore towards firm.

/sigh my old fox forks were factory ones i think and did not have that dial.

for a mudguard that attaches to the rear stay, just fitted to my camber 29er works a treat.

that's the one!

just ordered it, but only after emailing them about delivery to outside mainland uk (NI) - replied back it was free so went ahead (23 quid quite a lot for moulded piece of plastic, but if it keeps me dry.....)

Me again but on the Fritzz... Ally was too scared in-case he went over the bars haha, reckon he still needs more air in the pikes and the shock... near bottoming out after this...

Any idea on price or lower spec models?

£3200 for the lowest spec which will have monarch plus and pike combo, reverb dropper and probably xo1

Then 3600-3700 for mid which will be bos combo and prolly xo1

Then £4000 for the best kit on the market

It looks so much like a specialised. At £3200 for the base model its already yt's most expensive bike. Just goes to show how low priced their bikes really are. If that were a yeti, santa cruz, specialsed etc the base model woulx be £5000 then the high model would be £7000+

Those prices definitely in £s, cos that's pretty expensive for a YT?

I know comparable spec bikes from the big brands are around 7K but when they're selling their top spec DH bike for around £2.7k the Capra doesn't look all that great for the money.

It would appear Carbon frames really bump the price up.

I have a £5 discount when you spend £50 CRC voucher that I'm not going to be able to use in the next 2 weeks before it expires.

First person to contact me on my Trust gets it :D
