Embarrassing Gamer Confessions

I started a silly little twitch stream of me playing Amnesia, after 2 eps I couldn't play anymore. Even though it had some people watching and was as far as I could tell, entertaining to the spectator.

My girlfriend wants me to complete it but play Outlast first...

I said no.... I simply can't and won't play scary games, I immerse my self in them too much and I'm not a man :(

You should go back and play it again, it does lose the scariness after a while (except for the only jump scare in the entire game which is so flaming obvious and still scared the crap out of me anyway, so much so that I let out a little girly scream).

I've called in sick once or twice to play games.
I keep buying games knowing that I will never, ever, play them (I would need several green mushrooms).
I started a monitoring system for steam names that has been pretty much abandoned yet I still traipse it about the place. (mainly due to time constraints)
I'm sure there are many must-play classics that I've never played (e.g. System Shock 2, the monkeys keep killing me with their brain rays).

never completed a PC Game since Medal of Honor: Allied Assault (2002) I get bored so quickly now ;)

I loved the Harry Potter games, not the later ones but the early ones.
I told all my friends online it was my "friend" using my account to play them.

I have 100% of the Steam achievements in both Lego Lord of the Rings and Lego Marvel Superheroes.

Absolutely no regrets.

I used to dump woman if they refused to dress up as Lara Croft and on occasion dump them when they did for not putting the effort in she justly deserves.

I played far too much Neocron during my A-Levels causing me to not do as well as I should and end up at a lesser university. The thing is I now have contact with the devs and CEO of the company who made the game.

Poor A-Levels = limited job prospects even with a PhD.

I tell people the first game I completed was Resident Evil 2 when I was 10, but the truth is I got stuck on the last boss as I used all my ammo up and only had a few cross bolts left :(

I occasionally have the urge to play the sims. :( When this happens I always end up buying all the expansions too. Luckily I haven't played it for over 18 months.

I purchased Unreal on release after seeing/playing the demo, and played online for hours, but I never got out of the ship in the single player campaign.

Whenever anyone talks about their "defining gaming moments" being stepping outside the ship in Unreal and seeing the sprawling world, I feel like I've missed out.
