If they thought they could get £17k for it why would they offer you it for £15k...

£17k sounds a bit lol for a 6 year old previous shape 1 Series.

Because apparently they plan to honour the price that it was advertised at. Price goes up tomorrow / Monday...

I agree a lot of money now for as people say 6 year old car.

Sounds like a salesman trying to make a sale by saying anything.

Why would a company intentionally lose out on £2k of money to honour a deal they don't have to? When was the last time you saw a company trying their hardest to throw away profit to be the 'nice guy'?

It's probably a hard car to sell due to the engine and they will let it go for £15k as a quick sale, the chances of it going up to and selling for £17k at 0 if you ask me.

I don't disagree, I'm certainly interest at the current price, but don't plan to be rushed due to the rise. They have three other customers interested, so if it goes it goes.

But it's getting close to what I'm after. Shame it's not in till April and 150 miles up north.

I'm sure as people trade in for their 14 plate cars others will come and go. Other considerations, sell the 123d and go from there.

£17k for a 135i is crazy, you're paying so much extra for the 'low mileage' on that car. There are 335i's starting on AT for £7.5k, is there not a decent middle point of about £12k-£13k to buy one?

I honestly dont know what its worth but I would think about £13k +/-, spec is huge but its high milage at 60k.

Ah right, I've no idea on the value of 335's. If you had a cheaper one to get rid of I might have consider it. £13k is Mustang money for me but a cheap 335i at the right price might have tempted me for a year or so.

Correct me if I'm wrong but won't it be much harder to sell with a remap than without (eg. don't advertise it with a remap, or remove the remap prior to sale)?

Yah I could be wrong I have not looked at the value of them for ages. Regarding the map yes I will just take it off before I put it up for sale. The map was a bit of a waste as I put it on 2 years ago and have only done 2 or 3k miles in the last 2 years.

Considering options via independent dealers too, what's the score with adding BMW official warranty?

If its under 60k mile its quite cheap to do, over 60k miles its twice the price. However if you pay monthly and you go over 60k miles its still the cheaper price.

So I put a warranty on my 335i ages ago and its the same £40 per month even though its over 60k miles.

OK Cool, seen this one - http://www.jamespaul.co.uk/bmw-335i-m-sport-twin-turbo-paddle-shift-3492696 older than I was looking at, but just thinking of alternatives / options

This I know is a non LCI and N54 edition although engine issues / turbo.. So 330i instead?! Think next weekend I'll get out and find something to look at
