Each to their own, but you'll have to accept that most PDA-phones (sorry I hate using the buzzword "smartphone") have crossed the boundary of cameras, MP3 players, handheld consoles as well as being the aforementioned PDA.
Allot of these new phones are now too big now, Galaxy S4 size is as big as I'm going, got to draw the line somewhere.

I'm indifferent to the design, I like how the front looks, but not the back so as a package, indifferent.
However, I think too many people are getting way too emotional about the way a phone looks.
It's a bit bizarre how disliking the way it looks isn't enough, people have to start wheeling out the hyperbole, and going on and on about how the phone is junk, crap, and whatever else based on disliking its looks.
Okay, so you dislike how it looks, isn't that enough? You don't have to start inventing additional negatives to it based on a dislike of how it looks.
