As a side bet I stared with £25 yesterday on Bayern -1 = £37.37 pot
Rolled this (37.37) on to Barca/Spurs Double today @ 1.4
Going for a £25 to £1000 challenge.
Had a reasonable night last night. Had an 8 fold accumulator of which i came out with a whopping £1.27 (having staked about £50 on various multiples)
Not going well then you may think. But i also had £300 on Napoli (£200 at 1.5 and then threw another £100 on at 2.38) which gave me a decent little profit.
Then had 2 other multiples
Tottenham and Napoli which won £291
Tottenham, Napoli and Benfica which won £379
Only other letdown was Fiorentina which lost me £150 but overall a decent outcome![]()
Winner....on to the next one.
Since 18/07/2011 (when I created the account) I have:
deposited £238.50
withdrawn £255.95
So a whopping £17.45 profit after 2 and a half years.![]()
Christ you can ***** 300 quid on a bet
I get annoyed if I lose £50
If that was the most I'd lost on a single bet I'd be a much happier man!
I lost £4000 on Villa to beat Millwall in the FA Cup last season. That was when I'd had a few winners to build up my bank roll and had visions of being sat here posting from my private yacht by now...
Think my worst was the £1400 I had on Dortmund against Malaga in last years CL.
Malaga went 2-1 up in the 83rd minute so I cried and took a £50 cash out. Cue two late goals to give Dortmund the win. I'd have had about £3500 had I not cashed out for £50![]()
How do you find that out?
I'd take a £10er or even £15 out so you're playing with pure profit and not your own money. All mental/psychological when you do that.
