*** Official Kodi (née XBMC) Thread ***

Just updated to Gotham beta and Aeon MQ5. Working perfectly so far, even with yatse as well. I get less problems running gotham with the DTS-HD-MA and True-HD settings now than i did using frodo. The advanced audio and picture options in gotham are a welcome feature.

I'm completely job smacked by the Aeon MQ5 skin, it makes the entire experience feel like an incredibly expensive entertainment suite.

I've tried a few skins and this has to be the most aesthetic, intuitive and detailed skin tested to date.

Simply incredible and a cinch to setup.

Word of warning to anyone grabbing the Gotham beta. If you use match screen refresh to frame rate it is broken in the beta. Should be fixed in a nightly though.

Guys, got an issue with one TV show (Touch - Kiefer Sutherland). For some reason XBMC things it's the Japanese cartoon TV series from ages ago.

Where / how do I force the metadata change?

Remove show from library, change the folder name from "Touch" to "Touch (2012)" and re add the show to library.

Is it possible to run two XBMCs at the same time (much like watching two different videos in two VLC screens)?

I've searched quite hard and can't find a single thing. Can't be that hard surly.. I even tried running it in portable mode but still can't run a second independent instance.

Caved and ordered the Pi looking forward to having a tinker and hopefully can set Xbmc up without too many problems.

It's a piece of cake to get set up and running but I'd recommend using the remote app on a smartphone to navigate as the UI is painfully slow when using a keyboard and mouse!

I've got a Raspberry Pi running Raspbmc upstairs and want to xbmc up my lounge now :)

The Pi is OK but it's a bit sluggish and tends to crash a bit using addons/complex skins. What's the cheapest way of getting myself up and running? Are these Android boxes any good or should I consider stripping down one of my old windows machines and making it silent ?
