Titanfall (XB1/360)

I'm really not happy that we STILL haven't seen anything from the 360 version. 3 weeks to go and not even 1 screenshot

That's because they don't want you to know how small the difference is when they are looking to flog a few systems with this game. It's a tricky one, they should have made it a next gen only game but the way the console has been selling it wouldn't have made them much money. Or the 360 delay should have been longer.

I pre-ordered from the Rainforest. £42 on Xbox One.
You're allowed to say Amazon :p That's where I ordered from as well. They're actually becoming the cheapest for most games now, I think I've got all 3 of my current pre-orders with them (Titanfall, Dark Souls 2, Infamous).

There's very little they are not the cheapest for these days :( It's almost worthless doing a google price comparison. I always end up on amazon anyway. :D

I'm going to wait to see exactly what the Season Pass has. I only paid £25 for the game so £20 for the SP sounds pretty decent as long as content is worthwhile.

from what I remember hearing it gives you 3 dlc packs, and separately they cost about £5 more.

I noticed on Amazon the 360 version is 1p cheaper than the XB1 version. As usual early adopters getting ripped off :(

not sure if this is old news now but it will launch with a 792p res but they are aiming to improve it after launch

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2014-titanfall-ships-at-792p

"We're going to experiment. The target is either 1080p non-anti-aliased or 900p with FXAA. We're trying to optimise... we don't want to give up anything for higher res. So far we're not 100 per cent happy with any of the options, we're still working on it. For day one it's not going to change. We're still looking at it for post-day one. We're likely to increase resolution after we ship."

Having to use ESRAM as the framebuffer is going to be ongoing struggle I suspect
"We've been experimenting with making it higher and lower. One of the big tricks is how much ESRAM we're going to use, so we're thinking of not using hardware MSAA and instead using FXAA to make it so we don't have to have this larger render target," Baker told us.
ps3ud0
