Hi all
As you all know we will have a new intel chipset coming out very soon and I was wondering what you would need to buy to get faster Data transfer speeds with the M.2 and SATA-Express, delivering up to 67% performance increase over conventional SATA3
Will it just be normal ssd and I don't see anyone selling a m2

Cool if true, hope its got more native Intel USB 3.0 ports.

I cannot read that all now but is it Native Intel or 3rd party SATA-Express cause that is not what I meant/want ideally.

I think you need new ssd but not sure, the sata express bunches two or three ports together with an adaptor last time i checked, kinda like raid

I thought z97 will have PCI Express

There's also a connector for the new SATA-Express standard on these mobos, and the Z97X-UD5H-BK has an M.2 slot beside the "10 Gb/s" marking, which makes it very clear that this M.2 slot does not run over a SATA3 (6 Gb/s) interface. The Z97X-UD7 TH comes with Thunderbolt 2 support, as the name implies.
