**Official 3DMark 'Fire Strike' Leaderboard**

1420 core clock, i wish any of AMDs AIBs sold cherrypicked cards :(

I think that he's just envious :)

:D

Found what i was looking for, time to see if i can stop win 8 spitting its dummy out

KeyPath : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers
KeyValue : TdrLevel
ValueType : REG_DWORD
ValueData : TdrLevelOff (0) - Detection disabled
TdrLevelBugcheck (1) - Bug check on detected timeout, for example, no recovery.
TdrLevelRecoverVGA (2) - Recover to VGA (not implemented).
TdrLevelRecover (3) - Recover on timeout. This is the default value.

Got an improved score but can't submit due to the time measurement data, :( http://www.3dmark.com/fs/1713746

Is there any way on win 8 to delay a driver crash?? I never get artifacts, it just lets go which is really annoying.

Its windows timeout, detection, recovery if it helps.

If you forward it to Futuremark they might submit it mate. I got it all the time last week but it seems to be ok now with same settings. Only thing thats changed is the Sysinfo update. (latest WHQLS).

Also, I hate your cards.

Tbh it won't alter my position on the board which is why I havn't done anything about it.
More interested in why I get driver crashes, and yeah I know it's at its limits but when runnng firetrike it's buttery smooth and no artifacting and then the box pops up telling me the driver has recovered. So by dissabling the TDR limit I'm hoping it may go a little further. I want to be the one that decides it's had enough, not windows. Can't test till after work and by which point the mrs will have the heating on!! Boooo!!

Yep, sorry guys and I can see the results look fine but I have to stand by my guns and not allow these results.

Deffo send any valid results to futuremark for vaildation and then once they have done that, submit it.

@ Walder, I have a higher score entered for you as well :)

If 3Dmark returns "TIME MEASUREMENT DATA NOT AVAILABLE", I will not be allowing the scores to be entered.

He won't allow the entry with that showing.

Ah I missed that - thanks for the heads up - will re-run. I think it might be to do with me running the bench via chrome remote desktop at work hehe. If i run it and then immediately close the connection it seems to run ok

The higher score you had for me was on my reference 290X, I am now on a Tri-X 290 but have just beaten my best 290X score anyway! I think both results should stay in there though as they are on different cards?

Good job you said, as I would have wiped the old one :)

Core clock / more volts for driver stopped and recovered. Say at 1340mhz I won't get artifacts if the cards are kept cool enough but it will just CTD and driver will stop responding. That's what it is for me anywho. VRAM instability = hard lock for me.

Only difference being, you can add a few extra volts and I can't :( :p

I'm at 41c for the volts I'm at and even though I have 0.23v left to play with I cant use it :( gpu needs cold for sure with anymore increases. Might be time to look at better cooling??

40c for me is a turning point as well albeit at lower clocks and volts. They love to be kept under that! My limits on my best card are 1316/1975 @ 1.212v 35c. I can manage 1340mhz core but need even lower temps. These cards love the cold

One thing I can't do is go straight in with my known max clocks, it will just crash, mems are fine doing this but the core needs coaxing, usually about 60hz below and work up, by which time I have no chance of a sub 40c run.

Spose I could put a litre of fluid in the freezer and transfer over once I have built clocks up! :D
