Or an M$ bitch, I can't quite decide

Whichever tickles your pickle I supposeOr an M$ bitch, I can't quite decide
I think it's just a bit of fun banter, don't think anyone is really seriously comparing a PC to a console. Besides after all the stick the PS4 folk have given the XO folks over "GPU Powah" it's funny to see them get all huffy when someone says the same from a PC perspective.Jesus, the children that occupy the console forums.
Yes the PC will always be superior but I tell ya the PS4 nailed it this time round and I see green life boats everywhere.
I think a lot came in from the PC forum to act childish as well. So much for being impartial hey.
And with that, I'd say you're going to steer this thread nicely into another argument.
I didn't say everyone...they know who they are though. Don't get defensive![]()
Oh I'm not. I've been on both ends of the scale. I do not understand this pathetic caste system that gamers seem to have invented. I think the real crisis is that nobody is actually playing games, they prefer to argue about them instead![]()

How so?
Jesus, the children that occupy the console forums.
Much cheaper games at launch, free games, Steam sales.
Say you spend £500 on a PC.
Someone else pays £400 for an Xbox One.
The average Xbox One game price £45
The average PC game £30. (Let's forget massive Steam sales for now)
If both people buy 15 games over a few years,
The Xbox One user spends £675 on games. Total cost of XB1 and games £1075
The PC user spends £450 on games. Total cost of PC and games £950
Already recouped the extra money spent on the PC. Now think about a typical 6-8 year console lifespan, the savings would be much more. Plus PC games more often than not drop quickly in price, Steam Sales are very good value for money as well. Also the PC can be used for productivity, work, media creation. It is a better value system than a console.
All I'm saying is if you had to pick one device only, the old argument that PC gaming is more expensive just isn't true anymore..
your comparisons are just ridiculous.
What £500 PC (from 5 months ago) is going to be able to play games launched in 6-8 years time smoothly with a decent level of graphics? Bare in mind you get a very good controller with the PS4, therefore I would want a standard keyboard but a decent gaming mouse included in this £500 budget.
I game on both but your comparisons are just ridiculous.
You'd need to upgrade the PC a few times within the span of 6-8 years since games don't get optimized for a certain spec like they will with Xbox One and PS4. You are also forgetting mouse, keyboard and OS.
