I never really understood Blizzard and their patches. Surely this one was on the US servers yesterday, so should be done quicker today, yet it never seems to be the case.

I am playing frozen orb spec at the moment, can solo Torment 4 but die on some packs if i mess up and the spec is working really good.

Using : http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Sycho-2606/hero/11453120

I will try meteor spec soon as i've got some magefists in bank. xD (lightning blast seems to generate arcane power real fast for me and crit good damage)

I am sure explosive blast didn't use to have 6s cd? when did that get changed?

The patch also has a fix for legendary crafting with improvements to them i believe also, which is good cos i can craft some helm of commands and see if i can roll a better one :)

This is my barb.

I tear through T2 at the mo

Only issue I have is health regen on yellow mobs or the ones that use lightning.

Still deciding on what to use instead of Superstition and I use ground stomp plus trembling stomp instead of threatening shout it's just I'm farming act 3 at the mo. I struggle on elites so just swap out TS / GS for war cry + invigorate, for now while farming I just end up kiting the elites to compensate.

Blood thirst passive + Ancient Spear w/ boulder toss rune works well too for healing and ends up critting around 6 mill on a full rage dump.

I will probably just end up putting blood thirst instead of Superstition.

People playing now? I can't get in.

Fire it up, the game then tells me that it needs patching and that it will exit and patch. It then exits to the battlenet launcher and does nothing.

Anyone else having this problem?

Oh nice of them to tell us. Why don't they use the battlenet launcher splash screen for this instead of outdated or well known news?

Does anyone have a good guide for crafting in this game? I played it loads on release when crafting was awful, but then stopped for about 6 months before patch 2 hit, when crafting now appears to be quite good. I had a look at the plans my blacksmith has and it's all 3-4 property stuff. I take it this is all now pants? I was pretty sure I'd accumulated a number of recipes, but apparently not. Either that or they were cack ones.

There's nothing to crafting. It's literally find plan, teach to blacksmith, find materials for plan, craft item and hope the random number generator is good to you.
I hate it because I work so hard to collect the mats and if the RNG gods are angry, I've just wasted X amount of hours for nothing. Which has been my case since D3s release. I've never crafted a single decent item and must have spent a good 80mill (all of my own, I don't RMAH)

They do, top right there's a yellow icon explaining what's going on.

Although a massive splash screen would be a bit easier to read I guess.

So I have just got back into this and I have a level 52/53 barb, so not sure what I should be doing? Do I just change it to the difficulty I have unlocked and just go through and level up?

Atm I am doing Master from the beginning and it seems ok for now and this is my first time playing any Diablo game :(

Installing this again. Not played since release week as I thought it was very poor but thought I would check it out again.

Well I checked it out, installed Monday and did a 10 hour session :( followed by another 8 hour one Tuesday :( Im now cursing this downtime I think I got the bug again.

I think when it was released I did not have my PC gaming hat but this time around I am having a lot of fun.

Now the inevitable question. Where is cheapest for RoS ? :p Really like the look of the crusader.

That's my barb, he's about 280k dps in game if I remember correctly, don't know why it shows lower dps on the bliz page?

Anyway, he sux now. I used to be able to farm mp10 but now T2+ is just like drudging through mud, fury regen is terrible and certain elite abilities are just plain silly / not avoidable, even maxing out resists with paragon (im about 180 or something). I'd like a spec that could at least get me around the map killing as comfortably as my wiz that has 1/2 the dps.

If anyone has a better spec for me or some suggestions I'm all ears, but for now im playing my newly created wiz and having fun.

Matt.

Wizard just seems a bit powerful right now. I have similar problems on my DH where hatred gen is slow so you can't really nuke anything, consistent DPS is fine. I would imagine a wizard with similar gear would kill much easier :P

My plan is to get to Paragon 200 if I can prior to patch, and I will try and get one of each class to 60 so I can pick which one to carry on with in RoS.
