Doesn't work, mines never been on yet still knows places I've been (although not very accurate as it has me in water)

It gives you a warning in your phone when you enable location services - you can easily disable it if you don't like it.

It's quite cool seeing all the countries I've been to over the past few years.

It can be a real pain to wipe the history too!

Haven't noticed that, although I only have GPS enabled when I'm actually using Navigation, pretty good that they can get the location accurate to 20m just with Mobile Data!

I know I only left the house twice that day, for about 10 minutes at a time.

I turn the GPS off on my Nexus 5, it sucks the life out of what is a pretty rubbish battery to start with. If this is done via data then I must have turned the feature off.
