Logitech G700s anyone?

I have one, it's a nice mouse, it uses AA batteries (which is great, because I've got a load of AA Eneloops I swap in when I need to), and when charging the data is sent down the USB cable too instead of the wireless receiver, which is nice.

It's nice and comfortable, and the additional buttons are nicely placed. I don't think there's another mouse I'd rather have at the moment.

I read that's a power monster but that's fine really since I be using it cable for most of the time.

I managed to "feel" one today at Maplins and it does indeed feel very comfortable, fits in my hand nicely, lot better then the G600 which felt smaller.

Button wise it seems prefect and where you want them all to be.

How long have you had it for?

I'll put mine on charge overnight every few days, depending on what I'm doing, it can suck batteries dry, but I've got the charging cable plugged in to my keyboard at all times anyway ready to plug in to my mouse if I need it.

I had a G700 originally, about 2 years ago now, but the middle mouse button jammed up and I couldn't get it working, so I sent it in for RMA about 6 months ago and they sent me a G700S back in its place. They're pretty much the same mice except for the graphics/grip texture on the mouse and the data + power over USB instead of just power.

You was still able to get it RMA'ed after so long? Really be nice if it does have a long warranty.

I am not going to discuss any more than I did in that thread which is more than 1 guys input.

6 hours is not great.

6 hours isn't great, but I don't get 6 hours, I get a lot more than 6 hours...

Are you going to tell me that I don't now? That thread doesn't show what you seem to think it shows. There are multiple people saying they also don't have an issue and get long usage out of it...

I think it's a 3 year warranty.

[edit] yeah it is, according to here;

That's great and I think that's sealed the deal for me. I didn't think Logitech had long warranties because the G600 on a "other" website only listed 1 year.

But if it's 3 years that's awesome! :D

Will this mouse be okay on a hard mousemat like the Razor Ironclad?

WTF are you smoking, I am not and am not going to tell you anything.

I said all I can on the matter in that thread, the G700 and newer G700s have crap batt life, the Logitech forums are full of spots on topic.

A G602 will last longer if your more interested in batt life than the gaming side though it is a gaming mouse its primary focus is on long batt life.

All logitech G series stuff has 3 year warranties. It's why I tend to buy Logitech over other brands, because it's very easy and painless to get stuff swapped if anything ever goes wrong.

My point was that you were affirming that it IS definitely 6 hours, without any deviation of that.

I and others in that thread have mentioned that we get more than 6 hours, I have a G700S, in fact I have noticed my G700S has better battery life than my original G700.

It's pretty clear what your attitude is "The battery live is 6 hours, I'm not going to discuss any more, 6 hours is terrible".

No you misread or made that up so stop talking BS.

BTW m8, I do not think we are allowed animated gifs outside the 1 thread meant for them, best check and remove if so.
