steam just gone down?

When steam is down, can you still select the option to play offline and still play a game? I'm sure I did that last time and it worked fine, earlier though it wasn't having it.

Yes I can normally go to offline mode fine but I was connected before it went down so I am logged inish atm

Steam is going down a lot recently no wonder Valve are trying to disown it now they are probably sick to death of constant store issues & want it to become self reliant so they can go back to making games instead.

After a while it must be terribly boring when your mega rich to keep doing all this boring tech stuff to keep the store running
