'Contact lost' with Malaysia Airlines plane

Oil slick depends on if there's any fuel left, and while initially there is a lot floating debris it sinks or gets spread over the ocean over the course of a few days.

The suggested area was searched first, if there had been floating debris it would have been found.

I think it's time to move on anyway.
I believe it would be possible to register a large sinking object hitting the seabed on a seismometer but the evidence suggests that the plane flew west over malaysia, so it's irrelevant.

Indeed, the seismic activity has been discounted. It's all about the Indian Ocean now.

Not sure if this has been posted already. Apologies if it has. Sounds very odd.

I believe this is what you're looking for.

This is really odd isn't it.

The only thing I can think of that would cause that pattern, except deliberate shenanigans is that they lost all instrumentation and all ability to contact anyone. They turned back roughly towards where they had come from, overshot due to lack of visibility, then tried correcting a few times.

But even more odd is that such information is being drip fed so many days later when I would expect it to have been known much sooner.

Indeed, the oddest thing I think about this whole situation is the farcical 'release' of unreliable information, sometimes from official sources, by 'mistake' or otherwise. Very strange.

I think it was shot down by someone accidentally.... Everyone is just keeping quiet about it, no one wants further tensions....

No one wants to release their capabilities either, I am sure USA/China/Russia have pretty much everything pin-pointed and no way would a jumbo-jet just dissapear in 2014, with these boys saying they have no clue.... Its just impossible.

Whatever happened, it took down plane in an instant.... In this case I`d say missile strike would explain events.

What if it had some kind of collision or encounter with a stealth plane flying from say Japan/SK to Diego Garcia and the "change of course" route was actually the stealth plane. Perhaps it was doing recon over Taiwan/China. They can refuel in the air, in fact maybe that's even why it was down at lower altitude for a period where it could encounter a commercial flight. I'd assume a commercial pilot wouldn't be able to detect a stealth plane in complete darkness.

Don't they fly at high altitude like 45000 feet? Then it possibly went down in the Indian Ocean and the US is claiming mh370 went down there (without much specifics), so they can move recovery ships in to position to recover any stealth tech.

I doubt the USA would assist in a cover up if Russia or China shot down a plane. Besides, doesn't explain the extended flight time. Independent sources like London based Inmarsat say they received signals from the aircraft hours after it's alleged disappearance. Unless they're in on it too.

I've spent 5 minutes reading about it, so I'm already more qualified than the experts, and I think that the plane looked at Medusa, turned to stone, fell out of the sky and sank into the ocean. As we know, stones sink. Coincidence? I don't think so.

At this morning s press conference:

The communications systems of missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 were deliberately disabled, Malaysia's Prime Minister Najib Razak has said.

The new evidence, based on satellite and radar tracking of the plane, is "consistent with the deliberate action of someone on the plane", he said.

The investigation is "now entering a new phase", he said, focusing on the crew and passengers on board.

How about finding it?

It is probably the usa who shot it down, and the chinese are not to be told ;)

There must be a slim chance that a passenger/s mobile phone signal could be tracked back it's last verified point.
If the plane did fly for another 5-7 hours then the search radius is huge and probably unlikely they will find it by searching / looking out of windows :p

Look how long it took to find the wreckage from Steve Fossett's crash in 2007 (one year later by a random hiker) and the search radius was a lot smaller.

So reports now indicate the plane was flown as far as Turkmenistan or even Kazakhstan....seriously? So we are to believe this plane has flown over India without anyone taking notice, or even Pakistan, these countries do have a certain degree of military , NONE of their primary radars picked up the 777 , nobody has raised an eyebrow what the heck is this target on my screen etc?

In an age where cellphones are constantly monitored a 777 cannot be found, i just dont get this story, heck i might even believe conspiracies in the past maybe true.

Its a 300 ton aircraft it CANT fly over land without anyone taking notice.

I can only believe the aircraft is on the bottom of the Ocean, result of fuel starvation. If this plane is indeed in the countries aforementioned, then its a cover up, 100%

you assume these countries even have primary radar. A lot don't, or don't use it. Malaysia being a prime example. It was the Malaysian military that recognised it's course direction, not ATC. Having said that, I would have thought other military radar would have picked it up across other countries. Unless it was just flying way too low.

After all, in 9/11 they lost contact with the planes, they were dropped below radar and smashed into 2 towers. Basically, anything is possible and plausible right now (except Aliens)

India must have primary radars, also Pakistan. DOnt forget these two dont have the best relations and are engaged in an arms race. Heck they are nuclear powers too. They must have picked up the 777.

Were talking about an ocean here - how many cell phone masts are there? I live in a City and my reception from one of the leading comms companies in the 1st World cant give me a signal inside the front of my house let alone in a plane flying over the sea in the middle of no where
