What have you done to your car today?

Does seem incredibly low.

I had a double check of the 330 on wbac and got back a (not surprising) sum of 2k - if it came to it (it wont) I'm near convinced auction would bring more

Woukd think Diseasel a3 has to be more attractive to the general buyer than a 3 litre petrol 6 as far as these sites are concerned

Bilberried my summer wheels, couple of new tyres and back on they go :)

A lot cleaner than they were!

Spent a bit of time cleaning and conditioning my seats today. They weren't exactly bad to start with but they now feel softer, looks less shiney and smells lovely thanks to the Gliptone Liquid Leather.

I still think you would have had an easier and more profitable time selling it with an ebay box fitted mate, after you had swapped all the good new bits onto your new one ofc.

Oh well, looks like fun :p

Wouldn't have made his house look ***** either:p

New oil pickup fitted, very messy. Wanted to fire it up today but it's probably a bit late to test out the dirty great cannon I put on it yesterday :p

Tried to take a dust cap off to check the pressure and ended up with the entire valve stem in my hand and a flat tyre. Had to put one of the winter wheels back on. Lucky it's going for two new tyres on thursday, I can get new valves all round.

Fitted a brodit to the taxi too dark for pics though but it's a lovely bit of kit although a bit pricey at £55 quid :(

Far too cheap could have got a lot more than that with minimal effort

Not even a small amount extra, a simple cheap ebay auction would have netted 50% more i would have thought :( You can certainly see how WBAC make their money!

I suppose when the cheapest equivalent examples (and i assume the shoddiest) are on autotrader for £3k private or trade it's "only" £1k less than you might have got (or 50%) for removing the hassle of having to actually sell it

The GLASS guide for trade in is £1600 so I recieved £400 more than I would get trading the car in...I don't see how that is a bad decision?

Glass' guide is nonsense in this case then. Thats a £3.5-£4k car all day long even with some minor damage to the front end.
