Hi,
I bought an EGO vision starter kit last week (after seeing it recommend a few pages back) to see what vaping was like and never really had any intention to quit the cigs, but since I started using it last Monday I have not had a single cig (usally smoke around 20 rollies a day). Very impressed and still get to have my usual smoking routine just replaced it with vaping. I even lasted Friday night with a few beers and I was sure that I would have at least a couple of rollies then.
My problem now is that I find the batteries just don't really last long enough for me. So I could just buy a bigger battery for my ego and use the clearomisers that came with it, but am wondering if I am spending some money should I just get something decent that will allow my new vaping 'hobby' to grow.
I have been looking around and have seen that the MVP2 seems to get good reviews. But I am still a little confused on all the different attachments (clearomisers, cartomisers, atomisers etc.) Ideally at this stage I would still like something that I can just fill with some juice and get vaping.
So my question is is the MVP2 a good choice? and what clearomisers, cartomisers, atomisers would you recommend based on me still been very new to it all.
Cheers
Bit of a tough question this is, I started off like you and bought a bog standard set up like yours, realised that it was a better alternative to smoking and then I moved on to a variable voltage device in the quest for more vapor/throat hit, then I moved on to mechanical mods and this is where I have found my perfect vape and don't have to worry about performance drops, leaking tanks, and dodgy batteries.
You have to do quite a bit of research with mech mods and understand how to recoil your device and also what wattage/voltage/ohms are and how they affect the performance. You also have to factor the possible risks of using mechanical mods and how to do it safely.
So if you are keen on making the switch then I would recommend you read up properly on what I have mentioned and when you feel confident get yourself a mech mod. It will save you money in the long run and give you the most satisfying vape.
