there seems to be a massive jump in difficulty between Torment 3 and 4. Maybe ive just been unlucky in public groups and skills levels but T4 is kicking my ass all over the place.

I reset the quests over the weekend and went through the game thinking i would get more legendaries but got next to nothing, most bosses didnt even drop one so im not bothering doing that again and just farming gems.
 
Not played since like 2012! Just re-installed and jumped on my L48 DH. Don't really know where to pick up from? any ideas? Ive completed the game on normal If I remember.

normal again, you'll get destroyed with old gear on anything else, until you've got some replacement gear.

Bap did well yesterday then, he joined our T1 run earlier as a L2!!!

Really enjoying doing the T1 boosting actually, I've always had fun helping people out :).
 
OK I had a quick go of this last night, and it was much more fun than I remembered and gear actually dropped :)

Anyway my Wizard is only level 42 or so, how long will it take to get to 60 now? I'd like to get that done before the expansion but not sure I'll have enough time.

Can't see it taking more than a couple hours. You can always join one of us in the clan and get boosted. :)
 
I've still been on my hardcore grind - sorta waiting for RoS before I play too much, aso spending time on the hardcore side - where I'm actually having a lot of fun - finding upgrades and pretty much started from scratch.

That would be sweet :) I've gone back a few pages, I can see mentions of the clan but can't see how you actually join ?
 
Basically the fastest way to get an alt to lvl 60 (you have to already have a level 60) Is get a level 1 to make a game at torment 6, get a level 60 to join the game and kill stuff for you, you will get to level 20 in about 5 minutes, i got my friend to level 60 doing this which took about 1hour 30mins, the hardest part is from ~level50 as you cant do torment 6 anymore so had to turn it down to torment 2/3.

I've boosted a few friends to 60 on T6, or if I cba to think then take them to 57 and 3 runs of the Crypt of the Ancients on T3 will get them to 60, doesn't take long at all.
 
Currently levelling up a Wizard on HC after getting my Witch Doctor to 60 the other day. Doing it on expert difficulty so not too hard, though there has been some hariy moments (namely with wallers and arcane enchanted rares....eeek)

I managed to get the Hallowed Defender plans not too long ago and my god, the dps on the 1handers has gone up a lot since the patch. I had a pre-patch one at about 900dps. first one I crafted after the patch came out at 1400dps! Alas though, no socket :(
