Dude, its probably all right for you who are in that clan bit already so you can freely see and play with others but for the rest of us it was a ****ter.
So we created the other clan which makes perfect sense and we know via people putting their names in this thread who is legit and have had some great games already with people

No one is getting hysterical, you cant possible tell me even 25% of the people in the main clan are on these boards and no one was doing anything about it, so we came up with a solution.
 
The community option ISNT perfect and thats why no one cares. You have no way of chatting freely with people unless they actually joined the chat since blizzard forgot to add the auto-join option (at the last count there were 2 people in that chat) and you can not see people to party with on the title screen, unless you physically go into the community options and search around.

So yeh if you want to do it the hard way, sure its perfect but given that the clan functionality is complete, its the better and easier way.

if there's so many random in the clan and there's another clan group up and the community... can't we just disband the two clans and just start a fresh only adding people from here? :p or even make a new thread for "the OCUK DiabloIII clan invite thread" then boom... people put in names, all ocuk get added... everyone is happy xD

It's alright to say something like that when you were probably one of the 150 members that got into the clan. But you cannot seriously tell me that all those 150 are active players that have been posting in this thread, so where on earth did they all come from? It is quite apparent that there are many posting in here that didn't get an invite as the limit had been reached, so it can only have been friends and friends of friends that got added into the OcUK clan, and not members of this community. I don't want to sound elitist but if you can't be bothered to participate in this community then why should you get an invite to a clan set up for members of this forum? I don't for one moment believe that all 150 players in the clan were from this forum. Saying that it gets hysterical here is a bit of a ridiculous statement. All we're saying is that it was mentioned in here that there was an OcUK clan formed, and a lot of us wanted to join but weren't able to because it was full. So the obvious option was to reform and not allow all and sundry to invite. I joined last night and there are 26 people in the clan at the moment. Nowhere near the 150.
 
I'm kind of losing track here :D

I joined the original ocuk clan, had a couple of good groups with friendly folks such as you generally find on the forum. Recently I've just had people randomly join my (private, somehow) games when I'm just mucking about. No word of hello, no response to a hello, no banter or fun, just do their own thing then sign out randomly. I suspect these people aren't forum members. Or are rude ones if so :p

Is there a new clan I'm meant to join? Or is it one of these community thingies?
 
I think most of them were active in game and on here, disbanding and starting again isn't the way forward. I know of one person in the original clan who isn't able to post here anymore, but was very active in game and in clan, but the majority of people were active (most evenings there were up to 100 people online from the clan).
 
I dunno, I am liking being the RAP (Rapture) clan. We have a few people on the OCUK forums online there a lot, and everyone is very friendly/helpful.

If people want to join a good clan which is OCUK based it could be a good home for them too. Think Smudge is guild leader if i recall correctly.
 
Got this game only clocked about 30mins but still no idea what im supposed to be doing xD should I be playing solo or just jump straight in with some randoms? sad to hear auction house had closed, was interested in playing the market.

150 people on these boards don't even own the game! A clan is pointless if its full of nobodies.

Rapture clan or RAP, was the name of our old WoW guild, Smudge is my RL brother and leader, but any member can invite, we have a few OCUK members, the other members are old guildies from WoW and really good people, and a few are RL Danish friends of Smudge's, overall the vibe is great and people are really helpful and willing to group up
