If you had the chance, what would you ask your company CEO?

I would ask him why he is using americanised titles in his company, tell him he's the managing director and stop trying to be something he's not.

Or simply 'Chief Executive'

Maybe its an American company or maybe he has a majority stake in the company and can call himself whatever he likes...

Why do the powers that be keep hiring utter morons for CEOs?

But then I can't as we don't currently have one. Because he was let go.

Last time I was with my CEO I was steaming drunk and was borderline hitting on his wife. In fairness, I see him most days I'm in the office. Global company managing north of £1.7 trillion of client money with a pretty flat management structure.

If I'm going to ask a question its because I actually want to ask that particular question and not because I just want to be seen to ask a question or because someone else posted a question that appears interesting on the internet.

I am looking for inspiration. Simple as.

Fidelity?

... Global company managing north of £1.7 trillion of client money ...

Russell Investments. Easy ;).

Russell Investments job website said:
... Russell has $256.7 billion USD in assets under management (as of December 31, 2013) in its mutual funds, retirement products, and institutional funds, and is well recognized for its depth of research and quality of manager selection. ...

That doesn't include the amounts managed in segregated accounts. The £155bn figure is just for money managed in the OEICs available for purchase. :)

Sure. I was actually just curious to see what jobs were available. :p Nothing that interested me personally. :)

Well we update fairly regularly so check back if you're looking. If something does come up I'd be more than happy to put a word in for you with HR, it's how I ended up working here! It's a nice company to work for. :)

Thanks for the offer. I sometimes browse other company's career sites every now and then, although I'm very happy working for my American California-based tech firm at the moment. It seems most of the jobs at Russell that I might be interested in (in software development) are based in Seattle.

Ahh, yeah in that case there probably wouldn't be much that came up; pretty much all those jobs would be Stateside!
