we aren't really a clan though. just a group of people playing together from the same community.

Some people don't want to be in a clan, and all the BS that goes with it with people acting like "turning up for training" is life and death etc.. Its a computer game, and some people just want to turn up and have fun with like minded people. For them pub stomping is just fine.

Please. All the fun comes from raping the casuals. The players that don't realise that they're terrible and think anyone who is decent must be hacking are the best kind of 'opponents'.
 
How do I join the OcUK clan? Just ask in Battlelog? I can't for **** but I'm OK on the ground, and play the objective, though I don't like to hang around - I wanna be the tip of the spear.
 
And that is why it sucks to play with "pro" comp. clans on pub, just becomes base rape within 5 minutes and hardly any kills etc. then :( :p

Game is back to lagging for me again (FPS drops) as well which is really putting me of playing :( At least since uninstalling logitech set point software, my mouse isn't acting up *touch wood*

My performance has been rubbish since the last patch tbh.

Took the OcUK tag off tonight, and strangely started to miss the rage and whine...
 
yeah they've been searching for that EE for ages. The new Phantom Trainee password is in NS somewhere it seems.

Awesome, glad the mouse has improved since removing the software! Never found a need for it myself.

I have had a couple of FPS drops but very few and far between, probably only 2-3 since last patch and only very briefly

The only 'clans' that are like that tend to be those that participate in the competitive side of the game.

Most 'clans' I have come across are essentially what OC's are.

Had some gg's last night but its still playing worse than it did.

Agree, if they had given us the vanilla maps it would have been better. I understand the theme and all but they turned one of the nicest looking maps I have ever seen (caspian) into a giant turd.

I agree, additionally I don't see why people should remove themselves from a platoon by not sporting the OCUK platoon tags.

That is the whole idea of the platoon anyway, so that a community of gamers can play and communicate whilst sharing a common interest.

I can see how joining a server and seeing a whole bunch of [OCUK] tags can intimidate people. But the way I see it is that Platoon members are made up from new and old Battlefield players who just have one objective in mind and that is to win whilst having a laugh.

Go back to playing random pub matches and you'll see how the majority of Battlefield players are ****ing dim-witted and haven't got a clue how to co-ordinate. I for one just rage quit from those matches.

I know we have players who are more skilled than your average Joe but that means I can run classes which I could never have dreamed of when playing against randoms. (Support and Recon)

Also, it's not like we haven't come across other clans whilst playing and occasionally lose too. I find it a breath of fresh air playing alongside committed Battlefielders regardless of the game's current state.

I find it amusing seeing OCUK empty servers but then that is not our fault when randoms don't attempt to capture objectives, don't repair their team's vehicles, use a Jet as a way to get to the highest crane, chose to snipe on a hill/rooftop with 5 other recons and stinger noobs, etc etc
