That's why it costs more to insure a garaged car.
lmao was gonna say that garage looks crowded as hell!

I'd rather foolishly presumed they were pretty accurate having ran out in my old e39 exactly at the point where the range read zero......Ran my 325i out of fuel over the weekend, the OBC said I had 38miles range and given I've ran it lower in the past I thought I'd be fine doing a quick rubbish tip run prior to filling it up (I like to try to run it full to empty to guage fuel consumption, well, that's my excuse anyway!) I get to the tip and my range has dropped 2miles (the tip is roughly a mile away) and then I couldn't get it to restart
Thankfully, a nice chap with a Citroen Berlingo towed me to a garage where I filled up and all was good.
Moral of story, sod checking MPG's and don't trust the OBC!I'd rather foolishly presumed they were pretty accurate having ran out in my old e39 exactly at the point where the range read zero......
Christ, good on the Citroen guy!
I fear about running out of fuel one day. But I agree, OBC are not the most accurate things in the world.

I'll be reminded about this for years to come I'm sure!![]()

No need to run it empty to work out consumption. As long as you then fill it to the brim, you know exactly how much was used from the pump readout.
Yeah I normally do it to my reserve light being on.

Skyline is under a car cover - just needs the driveshafts taking off then the engine can come out
Replaced the heater valve on the Fiesta. One of the coolant hoses broke off the end of the heater valve because the valve was so brittle. Bit of spannering and new coolant and it's as good as new.
