UEFA Champions League/Europa League 8/9/10 April *** Spoilers ***

Hearing Gnev speak as a pundit, you get to see how frickin awesome it would be to have him in your team. Intelligent, passionate and eloquent.

Who could forget Brendan.

Excellent, now all the United fans at work can shut up about how hilarious it will be when they win the champions league and knock whoever finishes 4th out of a cl spot. Talk about clutching at straws.

Moyes does himself no favours by smirking in interviews. The interviewer has clearly given him a heads up on the questions and he can't even deliver a rehearsed answer without smirking.

He is so bloody upbeat too!

He just got schooled in football as manager of the champions of England and he show an ounce of embarrassment

For all the fans saying they don't want Europa league next year, don't the winners of that next year qualify for the champions league? Perhaps a cup run may suit certain team, then you get the £££'s for the CL.

Glad to see that Atletico progressed :) With the season they're having they certainly deserve it.

...Just compare the distribution of TV money in Spain compared to the Premiership:

When you consider the massive gulf in cash flow, it's very impressive that Atletico are able to hold their own against Real and Barca in both league and CL.

I was sad to see Man U concede a goal so quickly though. Maybe if Moyes had "done a Mourinho" and run halfway down the pitch to issue instructions to his celebrating team then they could have avoided it. But that wouldn't be Moyes' style now would it? :p

Barcelona and Real Madrid will just buy up their best players over the next couple of years. The strong stay strong, the weak stay weak.

100% agreed... Money talks.

And frankly I'm expecting Diego Simeone to find himself managing the next "big-money" club that finds itself with a managerial vacancy (Man U? PSG? Real? Maybe even Arsenal?!).

But still, while it lasts, I'd like to see Atletico taking it to the big-money clubs of Europe. I'm a Chelsea fan, so obviously I want Chelsea to win the champions league. But if that doesn't happen, then I'll be supporting Atletico all the way.

... by the way I understand the irony of being a Chelsea fan and talking trash about "big money" clubs :p

Good game that was, first half i thought Utd were going to score. 2nd half was just as good till Utd conceded 20 secs later when they scored lol. Rooney was beyond terrible tonight, 3 golden chances to make it Utd's and he fluffed every single one of them :/.

Said to my mates that it would finish 3-1 to Bayern and soon as the first goal went in...you could see Bayern thought right time to kill them off and they did with 3 nice goals.

Gotta give utd credit, they played pretty damn well considering it was Bayern.

Atletico and Barca game was no surprise, didnt expect Barca to go through...ever since they lost Pep they havent been the same and probably wont be. From what i saw, Atletico were the better team tonight...Messi hardly did anything all night lol.

Im hoping for a Real Bayern semi and Atletico and Chelsea semi...that would be some tasty semi's there.
