Formatting SSD securly

I have an Intel G2 80GB SSD that I would like to securely format. Is there a suitable bootable tool to do this?

I am currently downloading Hirens BootCD for something else - so if there is something on there - that would be great!

Boot and Nuke is not suitable for SSD technology. You need to use secure erase.

Yup, secure erase is all you need. I use a bootable USB stick with UBCD on it, which contains Parted Magic: http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/. Has lots of other useful tools and utilities as well.
